You want fancy, go find a Four Seasons.Want to have a fantastic vacation, then look no further.This place has everything one wants for a beach vacation: games, patios (yes plural), bbq, kitchen with all possibilities, living room for games and watching DVD’s (remember those?), walk 5 minutes to the beach for great long walks, lovely neighbors, 7 minutes to downtown Ventura’s Main St for shops and eats.I could go on and on.Enjoy, I know we will be back.Baltimore

A well needed relaxing getaway

The beach cottage is adorable. Built in the 50s it has so much charm. The front and back yard of cottage was so relaxing and quiet. Our little dog loved the relaxing also. The little gardens are beautiful.The beds were clean with nice sheets and pillows! It had everything needed for a comfy stay.The owner Donna is a kind lady, she met us there to go over details and let us in.Walking to eat and to the beautiful beach was a couple blocks. Ventura is a beautiful place.

Wonderful Ventura House

We have stayed in several rentals, and this one was better furnished than any. It was very comfortable and clean. The host checked in to make sure everything was right, and it was. Beds were great, plenty of linens, and the kitchen was more than fully stocked. The only complaint I had was the bbq. It was a Coleman portable and needs to be replaced, although I made it work. I still give this place 5 stars and would give it 6 if possible.

Absolutely Perfect!

The host has thought of everything!!! I appreciated the communication but most of all it was the little things that make a difference. There is a basket of chargers, coffee and tea, and tons of other little things that just make you feel at home. It was an easy process and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!!! Everything is within walking distance - the beach, Starbucks, even sushi!!! We had a great time her!

Perfect Beach Getaway!

Donna’s place is perfect! I highly recommend her beach bungalow if you’re looking for a place to stay in Ventura. We stayed for 9 days with our dog. The place was only a few blocks to the beach, we enjoyed sunrise and sunset walks everyday with our pup. Donna’s house is stocked with everything you might need for your stay. The house is clean and spacious. The front and back yard and completely fenced in, it was perfect for our dog to hangout and relax. We visited nearby Rincon Beach, Carpenteria, and Santa Barbara. Donna’s place is the perfect distance to all of these locations. Downtown Ventura is only a few mins away, amazing shopping and restaurants. Donna was very communicative the entire time and answered all of our questions whenever we needed it. We are looking forward to staying here again next summer!

Host has thought of EVERYTHING you will need!

100% cotton sheets - yes! One block to the beach - yes! All kinds of items you would need to take to the beach - yes! Beach chairs, beach toys, cooler, wagon, boogie boards, buckets, umbrella, and MORE ! The host has stocked just about everything you can think of and then some. Quiet area, but close to the Marina Park and the Ventura Pier. Easy to get to, right off the of 101 Freeway. Lots of shopping, gas stations, and restaurants nearby. This was our first experience with vacation rentals and we are already planning another trip! Even our dog enjoyed this trip, host is dog friendly. This cottage can easily sleep 6, possibly more. Everything was tidy. This cozy, mid-century cottage made our stay amazing! Backyard completely fenced in for pet and child safety. Host aims to please. Highly recommend!

This cottage had everything we needed for our one week stay. Donna was so easy to contact if we needed anything. Don’t forget to find beach needs in the shed. I even found reading glasses in the desk, in case you may have forgotten that. ;)

A fabulous place to stay

Donna has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. I even wanted to do a tad of mending and she had sewing things there. It seems like she thought of everything. It’s a lovely neighborhood about four minutes walk to the beach and close to restaurants in the very pretty town of Ventura, we plan to stay there again if we go to Ventura

Great location, short distance to beach

Our hostess was very gracious. The place was well stocked with condiments, utensils, small appliances, etc. Nice dishwasher and disposal. Neighbors friendly. Cable TV nice as we watched the Olympics all week. Parking is doable. We would stay here again.

Awesome Place!

This pierpont cottage was great! Beds were comfortable and the breeze coming in through the opened windows felt awesome! Donna is very nice and showed us around the place. We met each others dogs and she made us feel right at home. I will definitely book this place again!

Great location, beach 5 minute walk, close to stores and delicious food; lovely yard, safe for our pets. Very well-stocked: DVDs, books, beach supplies, BBQ, kitchen stuff, towels, linens, etc. Space well-used--plenty of room for 4 adults. Queen beds very comfortable. Busyish area, but people are polite, and it's quiet at night. We felt safe and were able to relax and enjoy our week.
