Massimo was wonderful! His tips, suggestions and aid with general questions were super helpful. More importantly, he was incredibly responsive! The house is a decent size in a great location. Loved the square where it is located. This home was perfect for our girls trip.

Massimo our host was truly that, he had us met by an agent but then touched base with us by phone to ensure that all was as expected with is lovely family home. He sent restaurant recommendations and transport info, very thoughtful. A pleasant surprise was that there multiple laundry machines as our last property’s machine was not working properly. Our whole group took advantage of this. We definitely didn’t have enough time in Venice and we will be back. Thank you Massimo for sharing your home with us.

The host, Massimo, was extremely accommodating and ensured that we had everything we needed for our stay in Venezia. He provided recommendations we requested for nearby restaurants, water taxi contacts, etc. All were excellent and secure. We felt safe at this location and in Venezia overall. This is a must stay if you come to Venice. The location is perfect, tucked away but close to everything. You will be staying where the locals live. It was such a joy to see the little kids in the square playing, while the parents are sitting, relaxing and visiting. The apartment is the best apartment we have stayed in, beautiful, clean, maintained, wonderfully decorated, comfortable. The Host Massimo is 10 stars, he makes you feel at home, takes care of all your needs and is very honest.

This property was a highlight of our 19 day Italy tour! This property in Venice was close to everything, with the comforts needed after a long day of exploring. The owner Massimo was fantastic with his response and overall willingness to make the stay perfect. He recommended a private canal tour, he found us restaurants, his staff was great explaining everything the first day meeting. He filled the fridge for us before we arrived. Clean property, safe area, everything we needed within 2-5 minute walk. This was a great stay!! Us 8 Canadians loved it!

Amazing work experience in Venice

We had an amazing time in Venice and staying at Massimo’s place was a huge part of that. The house exceeded expectations, great location on a quiet piazza close to major attractions. We felt like we were able to experience Venice like a local and Massimo was an amazing host. Easy check in process and offered a phone call to provide recommendations tailored to our group and desires. Helped arrange a canal boat tour as well as activities and restaurant recommendations. A meal or night cap at the restaurant next door is not to be missed!

Family Vacation in Venice

Our stay and experience was amazing . The house was perfect and the location was great. It’s right next to two bakery/cafes and a restaurant. So nice to wake up and enjoy a cafe and croissant. The rooms were great all with tvs and comfortable beds. Definitely a place I would recommend to others. Massimo the host was beyond helpful.From recommendations to just checking in to see if we needed anything . Couldn’t have asked for more from our stay!

Perfect stay for carnival

We took a detour after a work trip to visit Venice for Carnival. Massimo’s place was exactly what we needed. It was big enough to give everyone privacy but a great place to hang out together. It’s a great location and easy to walk everywhere but also really quiet for when we wanted to get away from the crowds. Massimo was extremely proactive and communicative and was quick to provide helpful information about transportation and places to visit. We loved the place and would absolutely visit again

Wonderful home in perfect location

The house is so beautiful and in the most amazing location. You’re close to everything but still tucked away in this little charming square away from the hustle. Our kids could run around in the square, we listened to beautiful music playing outside while we sat on our private balcony. The house itself is very comfortable with a great layout.Massimo is the perfect host- providing so much great information on what to see and do in Venice.

A beautiful home, location and attentive, helpful host

Massimoʻs home was a welcome experience in Venice, spacious, appointed with everything we needed and with clear directions on use so that you feel comfortable. Massimo was helpful & easy to contact; he made it easy for us to arrange arrival, even when our flight was coming in late (fairly unique this way in Venice). We were a small group (the house could have easily housed double our numbers) and the location, on a square, near our favorite pistachio treats, and easy walking to the Biennale events for some, while easy to San Marco for others, made it especially friendly to groups with different needs and different degrees of familiarity with Venice. And truly who can resist sitting on a balcony over a square having a coffee and treats while watching Venice wake up? Truly hoping to return to this special place.

Charming and comfortable home, amazing location, the most gracious host!

We enjoyed 4 nights in Venice this past August and just loved staying at this home on the square. It was charming, well equipped, clean, air conditioned and so comfortable. The host and the welcome team were incredible! We were given every recommendation possible to make our stay the bestit could be, from dining to activities to travel to and from the house. Massimo personally reached out several times to ensure we were settled and had what we needed to enjoy our stay. We could not have been happier with our selection. This home is perfect for a family vacation or large group. So spacious and bright. Would highly recommend!

Massimo was very accommodating and excellent host. Communication with him was very good. The location was ideal for a place to stay in Venice. A Great Base for Family Memories in Venice!

We had the most fantastic stay at Massimo’s stunning home in Venice. It provided our family of 5, ages 4 to 74, with creature comforts, space, convenience, WiFi and tv, and most importantly, air conditioning for 5 days in July. One member with mobility issues was able to easily enter the house (2 steps) and use the 1st floor bedroom and bathroom. The house is centrally located on a quiet square off the main tourist areas, all within walking distance to the beautiful landmarks, sights, shopping, dining and gelato shops, and water transportation (note: private water taxi stop is about a 3-4 block walk). Staff at restaurants (quite good!) on the square knew Massimo and offered dining discounts. Massimo communicated with us early and often (even from London!), provided a detailed house manual and resources for must-see sights, dining, tour guides, transportation, grocery shopping, etc. When it was evident we needed an extra suitcase, Massimo even helped us locate several luggage stores. Massimo went above and beyond before and during our stay. Our son injured his foot the day before in Florence and Massimo was able to direct us to medical care in Venice, even calling us to discuss how to ask our water taxi driver for an additional stop at the hospital on our way to check-in at his home. Massimo is by far the best host we ever had and his home was a great base to create beautiful family memories of our Venice vacation. Thank you, Massimo & family for sharing your home!

Perfect!

My family of 5 (all adults) stayed here for two nights in May. It’s clear that the owner has taken excellent care of the house, and he has made a lot of updates. We loved the location (no bridge to water taxi), as it was quiet and on a nice courtyard, with an excellent restaurant next door. Massimo, the host, was extremely helpful and always responded promptly to messages. He also supplies a handbook that explains how everything in the house works, as well as suggestions for food, drinks, itineraries, etc. He also offers to have someone grocery shop for you in advance, which we didn’t take advantage of, but wish we had! We will definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to a hotel.

Charming Venetian Home

Massimo’s house is in an outstanding location, very quiet, away from tourists and yet right near everything you want to see in Venice. We had a wonderful stay there as a family. The house is very beautiful and has a few outdoor seating areas to relax with a cup or coffee or a glass of wine. Massimo is very helpful and responsive. He gave us recommendations for water taxi, restaurants and tour guide. We really enjoyed our stay and will happily come back again. Grazie mille Massimo!!
