Truly beautiful apartment...

This is a truly beautiful apartment. It is very large, traditionally decorated and very well maintained. This is an apartment that is part of the history of Venice. There are three large bedrooms with very good beds and their own bathrooms. A family can be together easily but are not on top of one another. Alberta was a very gracious and helpful hostess....The location of this apartment is a very short distance from San Marco. It is on a crowded, major tourist route. Sounds like a drawback? Not at all! When the wooden doors from the street close behind you , and you walk down the long hall toward the internal courtyard, you take a step back in time and away from the noise and distraction of the Riva degli Schiavoni, no matter the time of day. Thank you Alberta for sharing your lovely apartment!

Fantastic location and beautiful property

Three couples, three nights, twelve sore feet, twelve wet shoes, and lots of happy memories. A truly wonderful place to stay in Venice-- close to everything you might need, and better equipped than most VRBO properties we've enjoyed. Worth every penny.

A+ property!

One of the most beautiful properties we have ever stayed at! Our host met us at the property and showed us around the property, she was lovely and responded every time we reached out. The apartment is huge, plenty of room for six adults, and each couple had their own bathroom. Canal views from most of the windows and beautiful courtyard view from the master bedroom. From the door, the grand canal is right in front of you, water taxis and public water transportation right there! Five minute walk to Saint Mark's Square. This property is PERFECT.

Great stay in Venice

Our stay at this Apartment in Venice was perfect. Alberta met us and showed us around. She gave us a bunch of recommendations. The location was very convenient. A very short walk to the Basilica and Doge's palace. You are also right next to the water taxi stop. The only downside is you do have to do some steps to get into the apartment. It was no big deal for us but may be difficult for others. We would definitely stay here again.

Venice with great access

It was a beautiful spacious property. The property owner was accommodating and communicative. And there were three different sleeping arrangements and they all worked out fine for our group. The location of the property could not be better. Our host had plenty of books that we could turn to to find the best things to do in Venice.

Excellent Location

The property manager, Alberta, was waiting for our arrival and gave us a thorough and appreciated overview of the apartment and area. The apartment was exactly as represented in the pictures, well equipped and comfortable. The location, along a canal was just steps away from the Piazza San Marco, the Vaporetto and was the perfect location. Quiet but central. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Great Location

Overall great stay! When we arrived water was dripping from the air conditioning unit in one bedroom. Host let us know and had it repaired the next day. It was hard for the kids to sleep the first night, but it was not the fault of the host. The apartment is charming and is in a great location.

Stunning Apartment!

This is a stunning apartment, especially for a small group who needs space and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. My friends and I stayed for a week in October 2022 and we were all very pleased. It's comfortable and you cannot beat the location. Thanks Alberta for making our trip to Venezia the best ever.

Best choice for Venice vacation

We are two people but the apartment is huge and fit well for two or three couples or a family of 4 to 6. Best condition of all my Vrbo rental properties. Most convenient location to all touristic interests. Highly recommend it.

Hurry Back

We had a wonderful time. Location let us walk easily to major attractions. We felt like we were right in the middle of Venice. Alberta attended to every detail in checking us in and out, including making all the arrangements with water taxi to airport. Process was seamless. Property has great charm. We loved it.

Perfect for families

A very spacious apartment conveniently located in Venezia. Take a water taxi to the apartment from the airport, Alberta can help set up everything. She is amazing. The apartment was clean, spacious and perfect for families. Alberta also provided a crib for my daughter. Highly recommend.

Excellent Property - Excellent Location - Excellent Host

After a week+ of touring across Italy, this property was the perfect place to decompress and enjoy the vibe of Venice. We slept in late, enjoyed a nice breakfast, and then ventured out into the city in the afternoon when the weather was cooler. Castello is amazing. The building is right on the waterfront boardwalk, with a canal on one side and an incredible history (you can read about it in the binder provided by the host). A 5-minute walk to St. Marks, Doge, restaurants, super market. The AC works great and we took full advantage as it was very hot and muggy during our time there. Alberta is a an excellent host: very kind, very responsive and very helpful.

Location, Size and Authenticity!

Not sure where to start on my rave review of Alberta‘s apartment. First, she met us within a couple of minutes of our arrival and her communication was fantastic. The apartment is so venetian authentic and the location cannot be better. We were steps from San Marco and right across from the Vaporetto stop. The apartment has its own water taxi pickup inside the building which is so convenient and much easier than dragging your bags. The apartment is HUGE and has everything you need. I normally prefer modern apartments but this was a real treat and made us feel so at home while we stayed for 3 nights. My entire family agreed that it was our favorite of all the apartments we rented while in Italy.

Another Awesome Stay at Ca'Navergero Appartments

This was our second time staying at the property and as long as it is available I would never think of staying anywhere else. Alberta is a wonderful hostess, very helpful and great communicator the apartment is elegantly decorated and in a fantastic location right next to San Zaccarea ACTV stop and 3 Ponte from Piazza San Marco. Outstanding location, excellent apartment and wonderful hostess

We are a family of six (2 adults , 3 young children and a thirteen year old). We stayed at Castello from the 3rd to the 7th of July 2021. The location is superb and the apartment large, tastefully decorated and very clean. Our recent stay was our second as we rented for 4 days in 2017. Our hostess Alberta is effervescent, very accommodating and always willing to help. The apartment is great for families or groups as there are 3 large bedrooms ( one was huge) and 3 bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms have views of the canal as do the kitchen and living room. Highly recommend

Excellent location for sights and travel. More importantly this place is beautiful!!!

This home is well appointed. The furniture and accents were lovely. The kitchen was well equipped. Bathrooms were exceptional. This home became our hime and we loved waking up to it each morning and returning to it when we finished our day. Alberta deserves the super hostess designation given her communication with us, little touches in her place and recommendations for the area. Definitely will return to this place should I be fortunate enough to return to Venice.
