Wow, wow, wow. Excellent spot in this world. We had an ocean-view sunset vila and every detail was perfect. Food exceptional. Stuff extremely friendly and helpful. Can just recommend.

O resort é incrível!! Muito lindo, organizado, as pessoas que trabalham são gentis e amigáveis. Os únicos pontos que considero negativos são: poderia ter bicicletas para se locomover na ilha e há poucas opções de atividades.

Amazing resort, amazing snorkelling & Pickleball. What dreams are made of An Unforgettable Maldives Escape at Veligandu Veligandu Resort & Spa delivered one of the absolute best holidays we’ve ever had in the Maldives. Having previously visited Dusit Thani, Amilla, Sun Siyam Iru Fushi, Sun Siyam World, Lily Beach, NH Collection Havodda, and Sun Siyam Olhuveli, we set a high bar. Veligandu easily rates right at the very top of that list alongside Dusit Thani the only two islands out of eight we would ever consider returning to. Our stay in Room 224, a Sunset Overwater Pool Villa, was nothing short of extraordinary. Waking up to those views and spending evenings by the private pool made for a seamless paradise experience. The hotel rooms are beautifully designed, the food across all dining outlets was incredible, and every member of the staff went above and beyond. A very special mention goes to Naveen, our host, who looked after us with exceptional care and made sure every detail of our stay was perfect. For underwater enthusiasts, this island is phenomenal: Snorkeling: Simply world-class. We saw more marine life and rays here than on any other island, including a rare sighting of a porcupine ray. Scuba Diving: The diving is unbeatable. Madivaru Corner was, without a doubt, the best dive site we have ever done in the Maldives. A standout feature for us was the covered pickleball court. Everything was absolutly amazing. Especially Wendy was great - always around but never to pushy/intrusive. Rooms & Facilities feel new and on a high standard. Absolutly recommending the Ocean Pool Villas and the direct entry of the house riff. You can see sharks, stingrays and eagle sharks as well as a lot of other fishs.

Perfect Stay

Our 6 Day stay at Veligandu Island Resort and Spa was perfect in every way. From all the transfer arrangements seamlessly handled by the resort staff, to the welcome and double upgrade we received, to the meals and facilities... everything was wonderful.

We stayed for three nights in an overwater bungalow on the sunset side and were blessed with great weather, allowing us to enjoy beautiful sunsets every day. Since we chose the all-inclusive plan, we were able to fully enjoy our stay without worrying about costs. The optional snorkeling tour was also wonderful, as we got to swim with many fish. All the staff were very friendly and pleasant, making our stay truly wonderful and memorable. I hope to visit again someday.

The most perfect place in the world. Look no where else, the rooms are amazing, the house reef can be accessed from your room, and the food is outstanding! And the staff is wonderful, too. We have been 4 times and will definitely be going for Number 5.

Holiday with my wife.

This is probably the most best of the Maldivian Island resorts, we had a beach fronted villa which was very private and perfectly appointed. We stayed for 5 nights after having been in Thailand for 11 days, for us 5 days was enough as all you can do is relax do a bit of water activity and walk round the Island which took 15 minutes.

A fabulous resort what more could you ask for in a vacation! Overwater bungalow, fantastic reef full of fish and coral made for great snorkeling and scuba diving. Good food and drinks! This resort sets the standard for a great Maldives vacation. From the moment we landed the staff were so kind and helpful I have nothing but good things to say about Veligandu Island Resort.

I do not usually write reviews however Veligandu is an absolute gem! The island is breathtaking, the staff and service feels so personalised, the food is amazing and the weather unbelievable! My girlfriend and I are talking about our stay everyday since we got back. The island has everything to offer, we had quite relaxed days on the beach, incredible snorkelling with turtles and reef sharks to great party nights at the hotels bar. We cannot wait to go back next year although we will have to wait until after the renovations.

Melhor hotel

O hotel é sensacional em todos os sentidos. Ficamos 6 dias em sistema all inclusive e todos os dias as refeições eram diferentes e muito boas. Ficamos no bangalôs sobre a água com vista para o por do sol e foi maravilhoso, acordar com vista para aquele mar é inesquecível. Os funcionários todos prestativos, com arrumação de quarto de manhã e de noite antes de dormir. A vida marinha é muito rica, vimos tubarões, arraias, tartarugas passando em frente ao bangalô. I should've been did this review in Sept 2021 when went for our honeymoon Rm 262. I seem to can't get this place out of my head and want to go back. Hands down from beginning to end, the staff met every need and made sure we were good. They were excellent! Very welcoming and friendly. The food was really good and our over water villa was beautiful. I heard they are doing some renovations. When it's complete we will definitely revisit.
