Additionally, the apartment was not clean upon arrival. The shower drain did not drain properly — we take quick showers, yet we were left standing in inches of water, and it took all night for the water to fully drain. This is unacceptable. "The owner of the house was nice and mostly easy to get a hold of through the platform , but it took a while to get check in instructions. They were supposed to be available 48 hours before (as per the owner) and I didn’t get them until the morning of, so I was a little nervous.
