"I recently stayed at the Grand Eastern Hotel in Labasa and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I booked for two nights but had to check out a day early due to a serious maintenance issue. The bathroom hand basin pipe was damaged and leaking continuously, creating a loud noise that made it impossible for my family to sleep. "The staff were very nice and our bure was nice and clean. However, they fail to mention that they run on a generator and there is no power between 11am and 4pm. We had an outdoor shower that was nice but couldn't get any water pressure or hot water reliably. Sometimes the water was hot for 30 seconds, sometimes not at all.
