    Mountain Vacation Lodging is excited to present Big Horn Home H, a beautiful mountain retreat that perfectly blends comfort, style, and convenience. This spacious home features a large deck with plenty of outdoor seating, a grill for barbecues, and stunning south facing views. After a day on the slopes or exploring town, relax in the private hot tub and take in the peaceful mountain surroundings. With ample parking and a free city bus stop just steps away, accessing Vail's ski slopes, restaurants, and entertainment couldn't be easier.

    The Property:
    The main living area offers a welcoming, high end mountain feel. Vaulted ceilings and a beautiful stone fireplace set a warm tone, while comfortable, well appointed furnishings make it easy to relax after a day outdoors. Large windows fill the space with natural light and frame the surrounding views. The adjoining dining area seats six and provides a natural flow for meals and conversation. Sliding doors open to the home's generous outdoor area, seamlessly blending indoor comfort with fresh alpine air and mountain scenery.
    The custom kitchen is designed as the heart of the home, featuring a large island with pendant lighting, bar seating for three, a built-in wine fridge, and a built-in stainless steel oven and cooktop. Expansive granite countertops provide plenty of space for meal prep, serving, and casual dining. It's the perfect space for cooking, entertaining, and connecting after a day of exploring Vail.

    The main level primary suite vaulted ceilings and a private loft with a futon, a cozy bonus space perfect for reading or relaxing. This suite is thoughtfully equipped with its own private washer and dryer, conveniently tucked behind a barn style door. The bedroom also features an HDTV for easy in room entertainment. The impressive ensuite bathroom includes a walk-in double shower, a dual vanity with quartz countertops, and a dedicated makeup vanity, providing ample space for getting ready. A spacious walk-in closet completes the suite, creating a comfortable, private, and luxurious retreat for guests.

    On the lower level, three additional bedrooms offer comfort and flexibility for family and guests. Bedroom 2 features a king bed, HDTV, and a private ensuite bathroom with quartz countertops and a shower/tub combo. Bedroom 3 includes a cozy sofa and an HDTV, making it a great secondary lounge or media-style space. Bedroom 4 offers two sets of twin over twin bunk beds, perfect for kids or groups. Bedrooms 3 and 4 share access to Bathroom 3, which is well appointed with dual sinks and a shower/tub combo, providing plenty of space and convenience for multiple guests.

Guests can take advantage of the free year round Town of Vail bus, with a nearby stop just a short walk away, providing quick, car free access to Vail Village, ski lifts, dining, and shopping. In winter, you'll be minutes from world class skiing on Vail Mountain, while summer brings endless opportunities for hiking and biking on nearby trails like Booth Falls and Deluge Lake. The East Vail location offers a quiet retreat with spectacular mountain views, yet remains close to vibrant events, outdoor adventures, and all season activities, making it an ideal base for enjoying the Colorado mountains year round.

    Arrival, Accessibility, Layout and Parking:
    – Once you book, we're here to support you before, during, and after your stay. We will provide you with arrival instructions, local information, and answer any questions you might have.
    – Accessing the property: From the driveway to the entry for the home there are 10 steps. Entry is on the main level.
    – Parking: There is parking for up to 3 cars. One car is able to park in the garage and the other 2 in the driveway. If you need additional parking options, please contact us for more information.
    – 4WD vehicle information: The roads to this property are maintained, however please note that your route to the area may include a mountain pass. When traveling during snow and winter weather conditions, 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive and tires with good tread are recommended.

After booking, a Vacation Rental Agreement will be provided. All guests are required to sign the agreement within 72 hours of booking, and prior to occupying the property. There may be other requirements. For example, Guests may be required to provide additional information about the group that will occupy the property and or identification documents. Background checks may be performed, and in some areas are required by local law. A Minimum Age Requirement of 30 years or higher may apply.     ** Air Conditioning - Most mountain resort properties were not built with air conditioning. During most hours of the day and weeks of the year, AC is not needed. Summer nights are cool and fans are provided at most properties. Check the average high and low temperatures and weather forecast for your dates of travel, and look at the list of amenities to see if AC or fans are part of the rental property and look for ceiling fans in photos.
    ** Group Sizes, High Occupancy Fees, & Maximum Occupancy - Some properties use a “High Occupancy Fee” to “raise the rate” for larger groups, and are thus able to list a lower nightly rate for smaller groups. Each rental agreement and associated rates are for a specific group size. Guests must enter the correct and maximum group size at the time of booking. The agreement requires a guest to confirm the group size and subsequently, to disclose any changes to the planned group size, which may result in an increase, or decrease, to the total cost, and may result in a security deposit becoming required.
    ** Video & Noise Monitoring - Please note that noise monitoring devices, and security cameras, do exist on the exterior of the property. Cameras are positioned to cover all entrances and exits of the home. Cameras are present to ensure the property remains secure and safe, as well as to ensure that guests are honest and upfront about their planned use of the property. If you plan to bring more people than you've indicated, more dogs than indicated, to host a party or event, or do not intend to respect neighbors or the value and quality of the property, then this is not the place for you, and you should not book the property. For normal, respectful groups, we are sorry that these statements and measures are necessary. Security cameras and noise monitoring devices are an example and demonstration that the property's owners are taking steps to ensure the home remains available for rental, and in good condition, for your benefit.     ** Lengthy Rental Periods, Cancellation Policies, & Cleaning Fees - Long Term Rentals (28 nights or more) may be unacceptable under the standard cancellation policies listed online, which are designed to be only for short term rentals. Long Term Rentals must be discussed and approved prior to booking online. A long term rental / lease agreement may be required. A Security Deposit will be required for all long term rentals, and mid-stay cleaning(s) / inspection(s) may be required. The standard cleaning fee quoted as part of any booking is for the final cleaning, which is to be performed after the rental period has ended. This was a great space for a ski week in Vail with family. The bunk beds were a hit with the kids (5 and 8). The living/kitchen area was spacious and we were able to prepare meals and enjoy each others’ company. We appreciated the garage and room for parking in front. We also appreciated the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. The washer and dryer worked well. We were near the interstate and I heard the plows several times as I am a light sleeper, but the flip side is that roads were plowed and we could get around and enjoy the fresh snow!
