Decent spot
Unbeatable location in Lionshead with super close proximity to lifts and dining options/convenient shuttle to main village area. Perfect size for two adults. 4 people + skiing gear would be very tight. The unit is very dated and in need of upgrades. Lumpy mattress. Old / small bath towels. Signs of water damage in bathroom. Parking not included and was $50/night.

Overpriced
This is likely the last time I ever use VRBO. The fees are nuts, the owner of the property was snarky when asked a simple question and the property is dated and just a bunch of little frustrations that add up. Location is good though. Second time Ive stayed at lifthaus.

Nice place - Great location
It was a summer stay and there is no AC but the nights are cool so it wasn't too bad. Other than that, we had a great time. beautiful location, walked to the gondola at the base of Vail Mt. for a day of hiking up top. Within walking distance or short shuttle ride(free) to an abondance of shops and restaurants and bars - very highly recommended.

Perfect for us
This place was perfect for just the two of us. View from balcony is great. Only bad thing is the elevator is broke so lugging our gear up 4 flights of stairs was tiring. Other than that it was great.

Small, clean and neat. It suited our purpose.
We arrived at the property only to find the office closed, and no access to an elevator, which was important factor to us. We had to carry our luggage and ice chest up 4 flights of stairs. We are in our 70's and have health issues, so this was a problem. The elevator is being replaced and will not be accessible for another month. We were also surprised to find their was NO TOASTER

Small, clean, neat view, the price is right
We were only staying for the weekend for the dance festival. The unit is small but clean, has a good view, is around plenty of shops and restaurants and for Vail the price was very fair.

Great Location
The 400 sq ft property was just big enough for my family of four. A Short walk to Ski Base rentals and the slopes. At the end of day I could literally, have my my skis stored at the rental shop before sitting on my balcony [with boots off] eating hot soup while watching others get off the mountain or walk to their shuttle. A quiet building set in a festive location. Burgers, pizza, and a reasonably, priced grocery nearby. Unit was comfortable. Perfect for a family that does not need that second bathroom for primping.

Great location/comfortable unit
Unit was comfortable with shelving etc to place items and a closet which was especially helpful for ski gear. We were able to keep our skis on the deck. It was a short walk to the gondola and another lift from the unit. Bed was very comfortable. Small kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance.

No frills, great location
Nice views from the balcony. A no frills stay: no toilet paper, no coffee, no tea, There is a market nearby where you can buy these essentials for your stay. Quite a lengthy check-in procedures list to follow & interpret, and plenty of “Do Not” house rules posted in the apartment. Easy parking ($35/day) paid to front desk.

Labor Day Weeknd Stay
The location of the property is awesome. I just have a few critiques. The entry door is INSANELY squeaky. There was no conditioner in the shower canister. I think more could be mentioned on the parking situation in Vail. We arrived late in the evening and it would have been extremely helpful to know the free options in the town. Other than that, all the instructions were detailed and well done.

Vail Lionshead Village!
Had a great stay at the condo. This location is right in Lionshead Village and unit 401 overlooks the village with. Nice patio. The village has many restaurants and shops and a market which is very convenient. Queen bed is comfy and kitchen has good basics to whip up something quick. Parking is high but hey you are in Vail. Would stay here again.

Hotel room
Basically a hotel with no service. No early check in or late check out. If you are paying for the cleaning fee then why do you have to empty the trash. Very counterproductive. Shower head was extremely uncomfortable. Like little needles

Who asked him to empty the trash?! Lol. Surely wasn’t us. It’s not a hotel, each condo is privately owned. Not sure what he left the 3 stars for, probably for his own behavior! Haha.

Good short term stay
We had a good 4 nights stay at this studio apartment. The location is very convenient to ski lifts, shops and restaurants. We were also able to park conveniently at The limited LiftHouse parking spaces. The kitchenette is adequately equiped. I'm glad I read the other reviewers about the WiFi code. The directions gave all caps code, but it should be all lowercase. I would definitely recommend this studio!

Nice little studio with some updates in can’t be beat location.
Easy check in, door code worked after 10 minutes. Had all we needed. Great location and view from the balcony. Parking was easy in the public garage. Older building.

Small but great location
This place is clean yet small. It was perfect for 2 people but any more than that would be way too tight. We stayed over Labor Day weekend and it was very warm. Our unit had no air. Even though it gets in the 50s at night it was still very stuffy in there because there is only one tiny window in the kitchen to open. The sliding glass door could be opened but not left open as there was no screen. Also our unit overlooked a very noisy playground. Something to consider if you want peace and quiet. I’m sure in the winter this place is perfect, so just depends on the time of year of when your visiting.

Vail retreat
This property is in a great location. It looks out onto the ice skating rink at Lionshead and is minutes from the Gondola. It is just above the playground which was a bit of a bummer as there were lots of screaming kids when we sat out on the balcony but still it was great spot. The bed was comfortable and so was the couch. The check in and out process was very easy. We didn't cook anything so I can't review the kitchen supplies, etc. We would definitely stay here again. Awesome location
Location is excellent. Right in the heart of Lionshead Village and maybe a two minute walk to the Eagle Bahn Gondola. King size bed was comfy. While the listing said that parking was not included, I wasn't aware that it would be quite that expensive. I've stayed in Lionshead Village before and parking was included at other properties. Just something to be aware of. There were a couple of burned out lights and I called the local contact (not the property manager) on the first day, left a message but never heard back. The password that I was provided for the WiFi was in uppercase and needed to be in lowercase. I helped a few others out with the same challenge. Overall, a great location and would stay there again. While it would sleep 4, probably best for 2 or 3.

Vail Wedding Stay
We traveled from Connecticut to Vail for a wedding. Loved having the check-in, map, and “what to do if...” at my fingertips! Our proximity to other wedding guests was perfect, and so close to many food & entertainment options. The property itself was comfortable for the 2 of us, although dated. Not sure if others use the wooden wall unit/room divider, but we did not - and did not have a place for our suitcase. The bed & pillows were very comfortable - we slept well there! And although the unit next to you says “Non Smoking”, we did not get to enjoy the deck as the neighbors were on their deck smoking every chance we got to get out there. The one thing I would suggest some investment in to spruce the space up, would be new carpeting - it is soiled & needs refreshing. We did not use the tv or any of the kitchenette amenities. We parked very reasonably right on property. The front desk Receptionist was EXCEPTIONAL in guiding us through the parking possibilities. Thank you for a very comfortable & affordable stay!

Won't go back.
Vail has always been a wonderful place to spend some time and my trip with my daughter was great despite two EXTREMELY rude property managers. Having reserved the place in February, I believed that our checkout was on a Sunday when it was in fact on Saturday. We obviously inconvenienced the cleaning staff by not checking out at the right time- it was an honest mistake for which I apologized. The manager and his sidekick knocked on our door and gave us 20 minutes to get out, when I asked for an hour to gather our things, the sidekick said "call the police." The reaction from the sidekick was WAY over the top and completely unreasonable and speaks volumes about who he is and how he treats people that stay at this establishment. I've been coming to Vail since the 70's and I bring my own children to the valley now. While this one incident didn't wreck our vacation, it has given me pause with regard to where I will spend my time and money in the future and it won't be Vail.

Excellent location. Called the contact person, left a message and received no response.
Good for a single person or a married couple. Would not recommend more than that. I would have liked a response from the contact person as the patio door was difficult to open. My last night there my son-in-law was visiting and discovered it was off the track--guess he should have come the first night.
