GREAT Value
Great value for the money. Excellent location . 10 -15 minute walk to everything. Room size was adequate for a couple. Wifi was EXCELLENT and nice hot showers. Will definitely stay again. Staff very nice.

Utrecht is expensive to stay, also For one night maybe it s better to sleep farer and come For a one-day visit ! The Place is really too expensive For what it offers i think ! The women is really kind, fast and simple in the advices, but i think the price is really too Much For a room like that ! Maybe a romantic trip is not the appropriate set to stay, even if with some Friends with which share the Price could be different!

This was the smallest room I've ever stayed at a hotel. Unfortunately since we had just travelled from a different continent and were looking for a temporary stay while we look for an apartment had a lot of luggage. With 1 double bed and 1 so-called twin and with 3 people in the room it was like canned sardines. Some other rooms looked slightly bigger but for some reason we ended up with the tiniest. Luckily it was ground floor so I was spared the weight lifting. Last 2 nights the HVAC system did not work (had to manually reduce the mechanical heater to cool the room down) No microwave in the room and staff would not replenish the coffee/sugar etc without being asked. Never got extra pillow/comforter either even after asking. I have lived in all sorts of hotels/motels and in a few countries as well but this was literally the most claustrophobic experience of my life. For 100+ EUR per day I do expect a slightly bigger room. This is not central London or Tokyo

My stay was generally good. The room was very clean but unfortunately my particular room smelt of acetone, perhaps from a previous guest. The shower could've have been a bit warmer bit the flow of water was very good.You just need to watch out for the leathal stairs.

Lovely place but not a lot around the area to do
Good room and good facilities. The local area doesn't have a lot to offer so be prepared to check in and then head back into town if you want an evening out.

Lovely stay in Utrecht! Nice location relatively close to the centre. The hotel was comfortable and clean and had a very nice shower.

Zeer goedkoop. Kamers zitten naast en boven de snackbar. Waar je overigens totaal geen last van hebt. De bedden waren smal 70 cm en bij 2 pers.bed rolde je naar t midden.

In verband met een overleg in Utrecht de volgende ochtend verbleef ik in dit hotel. Ik was alleen, maar er was alleen nog een 4persoonskamer beschikbaar, dus daar heb ik gebruik van gemaakt. Er werd netjes gebeld vooraf om te informeren hoe laat ik zou arriveren en ik kreeg desgevraagd info over parkeren en waar ik me moest melden voor het inchecken (in de cafetaria onder het hotel). De voorzieningen zijn schoon en netjes en alle benodigdheden zoal vermeld zijn aanwezig, maar geen extra luxe. Ik sliep alleen, dus er was bijv. maar 1 kussen. Info duidelijk vermeld op geplastificeerde bladen in de kamer, maar in het Engels en minimaal. Geen extra info gekregen over de mogelijkheid van een ontbijt, wel te lezen via de site en op info kamer. Heb dus ook geen gebruik gemaakt hiervan.

It is only basic rooms behind a cafe - which did not serve breakfast and was not open when I arrived. Free WiFi was terrible - did not work where the desk in the room was

Kamer, personeel & hygiëne goed MAAR ik wil graag slapen in een hotel en dat werd aardig onmogelijk gemaakt door: 1 mensen in de kamer boven mij (leek wel of ze klompen aan hadden) 1:00 2 mensen buiten in een auto (ramen open en HARDE salsa muziek) 2:00 3 mensen vanuit het hotel die om 's-nachts 3 uur een sigaret gaan roken voor het hotel er hangt een bordje in het engels of ze dit niet voor het hotel willen doen :-(. Ik sliep dus beneden en door de warme oktober was er een raampje open waar de de voor mij al NIET roker - STANK van het roken binnen kwam en daarna gevolgd door de klompendans naar de kamer. Allemaal heel jammer - de douche is TOP. Grappig is de waterval kraan die zo groot is dat die het water NET nog in de wasbak spuit en bijna de hele wasbak vult :-).

Okej för priset
Småschaskigt men ändå lite chamigt hotell som ligger ca 20 minuter till fots från stadskärnan. Varning för brant trappa till övervåningen där rummen ligger. Värt att notera är att det står Cafeteria Chao och inte Hotell Chao på utsidan byggnaden och att incheckning sker i cafeterian.

Too narrow bathroom
While the location is great, our family room had four beds, one of which was lumpy. My main complaint is that the bathroom was so narrow that I had to do gymnastics to get undressed. No kidding! Also, knees will touch the wall while on the toilet.
