Wonderful hosts! Toni took great care of us. The cooks were excellent. Highly recommend this approach of travel in Bali. Very safe as you’re always escorted by your host. Pool is very nice!

We had the most wonderful three weeks here at Villa Champa – truly a slice of paradise in Bali. The villa itself is beautiful, with a perfect pool for relaxation and stunning surroundings. Villa Champa Stay

Excellent villa to stay at. Staff is professional and looks after you. The manager Tony is top notch with his service & driving knowledge of BaliOnly complaint is the horrible traffic in Bali makes getting around difficult. But that is not under control of villa.

Our Bali Family Retreat

Where to start! The Villa Champa is exceptional. We chose this villa as it had a pool fence for our young children. Their attention to families is excellent. Ketut and Alex were kind and Tony was like another grandfather to the kids. We cannot recommend Villa Champa enough! Great rooms, pool, kitchen, and family living space. Looking forward to staying there again in the coming years!

Excellent Stay, best staff ever!

What you see is what you get! This villa is fantastic. The in-house staff were wonderful and made us feel at home. The food was delicious, and having a private driver made a huge difference in our experience and getting around the city.

Private Santuary

We came in two seperate flights and Tony picked us up even if it was past midnight. The villa is located in a quiet residential area (which is good) and every room and area shown on the web as exactly the same. Bali today is not the same as Bali before. Traffic is a major issue and Villa Champa served its purpose of allowing guests to recover within it premises. Perhaps the biggest factor also are the staff who took care of us ,Tony, Katut and Alek. Thank you very much.

Beautiful House with Amazing Staff

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Champa especially because of the wonderful service Tony, Ketut, and Alex gave us. Tony picked us up at the cruise ship terminal right on time and brought us back to the house. Ketut had spring rolls and lychee iced tea waiting for us to welcome us to the house. Tony drove us wherever we wanted to go and Ketut made us breakfast and lunch as well as one dinner. The house is nestled in a warren of tiny streets and alleys. It is impeccably maintained. Every morning before we came down Alex made sure the pool was clean and the deck area was spotless. Swimming in the pool was a welcome respite from the heat and humidity of Bali. Two items for other guests to note that are not totally obvious from the listing: 1. Only the bedrooms are air conditioned. The main areas of the house are open to nature and not air Conditioned. Because it is so humid in Indonesia getting into the pool or spending time in the air conditioned bedroom was necessary to be comfortable. The second thing is that the bed is somewhat hard. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay at Villa Champa. Thank you so much Tony, Ketut and Alex!

An oasis

A wonderful oasis. This is one of the nicest places we have stayed. The villa was clean and gorgeous. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. That being said I am not a fan of the surrounding area. The uluwatu region f bali is just very busy. The villa is very conveniently located and about 10-15 minutes from everything. You can rent a scooter or use the driver. All very convenient, I am just not a fan of this area of Bali as it is very touristy and so much traffic. The staff at the villa is great. The breakfasts and meals they cooked were exceptional. At first we found it kind of intrusive to have staff there 24/7 but they are all lovely people and very helpful. We really loved the place. If you want to stay in this area then this is THE place to stay.

Quiet and comfortable

The villa is in a very quiet location but within walking distance to the supermarket and a number of shops, cafes, restaurants and warungs. The staff (Tony, Ketut and Alex) were always very helpful and so kind. The bedrooms are spacious, plenty of storage for clothes, bags etc. Bathrooms were always very clean and beds made each day which is very special on holidays. Ketut cooked some amazing meals and kept the villa tidy and Tony was more than happy to drive my family and I wherever we wanted to go. The pool and garden are really well maintained by Alex. Its a peaceful and quiet villa where you can retreat after a busy day out and about or spend the whole day lying around the pool. Thank you for having us, we will be back!

Perfect for Families

Our family, comprised of 6 adults, spent a week at Villa Champa and loved it. Tony, our driver and house manager, met us at the airport and from the beginning was super friendly and passionate about taking good care of us. Upon arrival at the villa we were all pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the pool and gardens are that surround the home. Each bedroom is well equipped and the living areas are perfect for relaxing and game playing. The meals, prepared by Ketut and Alec, were delicious and always served exactly at the time we requested. The open air setting of the villa allows Bali to come inside. The warm breezes and beautiful scenery are just a glance away. Tony drove our group to several destinations, always with a smile and the determination necessary to battle Bali's heavy traffic. There is nothing we can complain about. VIlla Champa offers lux accommodations and a service team always ready to help with a big smile.

AMAZING STAY! LOVELY STAFF AND GORGEOUS VILLA

Villa Champa and the entire staff provided me and my family and amazing experience. I came here to celebrate my 30th birthday with my 1 year old toddler, my husband, both our mothers, and both our siblings. I’m also 5 months pregnant. This is our first time in Bali and it was a once in a lifetime experience. Before arrival, I had several requests and they accommodated them with ease. I asked for a gate around the pool as I have an active toddler, and they also installed a baby gate at the top of the staircase. They fogged the entire villa before my arrival to ensure no mosquitoes since I was pregnant. The villa was free of mosquitoes and I felt very comfortable and relaxed knowing this! Our driver and property manager, Tony, is an absolute gem. He made our trip so easy! He drove us everywhere, made generous recommendations, life saving tips, and took us to the BEST places! Seamless, stress-free, and just an amazing man. My toddler got along with him so quickly and they became so close. Tony is very caring and took great care of us. We truly wouldn’t know what to do without him. Our other villa staff were just as amazing! Winda, our chef, made us the best lunch and dinners. Katut, our housekeeper, made us yummy breakfast every morning and kept our rooms spotless every single day. Alek was great at assisting everything and everyone was so extremely kind. They did our laundry and folded everything nicely and compact. Every single request we had, they graciously accommodated us. We had two massage days at the villa and they were glorious. The villa itself is a DREAM! So much better than the pictures! Truly a magnificent stay. I can’t thank Tony, Katut, Winda and Alek enough. When my boys are older, we will be coming back again! We love Villa Champa!

Great place in Uluwatu

This house was great for our group!! The staff was amazing, and made everything extremely easy for us. Tony picked us up from the airport, helped us plan activities in the area, and in general was just very friendly and fun to be around! Ketut made amazing meals for us (I definitely recommend the Mie Goreng and the Tempe Goreng). Alex was quiet, but very polite and helpful around the house. Winda helped coordinate everything else. The pool was amazing, the beds were comfortable, the open air aspect was really charming and we just really loved everything about staying here!

An Incredible Oasis

This was such a great property and the staff is so accommodating. There were 5 of us in the house and we were completely comfortable. Breakfast every morning was delicious. Our driver made life so easy. I can't recommend this place enough.

Great family vacation in Bali

My family of four just returned from 9 great days at Villa Champa. We are expats living in Manila, and this trip was mostly to escape the Philippines for a few days during the crazy Christmas holiday. Our girls are 11 and 13. The villa is very relaxing. It is off of the main roads, and I would say very quiet. There was some construction going on next door, but it was barely noticeable during our stay. Anto, the manager and driver, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was highly responsive to our needs and requests, and was very mindful of not entering the living area when we were around without notifying us first. We could tell that he genuinely wanted us to feel as if the villa were our home, which we did. Ketut’s cooking was a crowd pleaser for all of us. We had breakfast every day at the villa, and had dinner here most evenings. We ventured out to the rice terraces and a waterfall, but the traffic was unusually busy that day. We opted to stay closer to the villa for our other adventures. Melasti beach was very nice, but we enjoyed Sundays Beach Club better, spending three days there during our trip. Rene, the hostess, was incredibly responsive via email. I never needed or tried to call, but I’m sure she would be just as quick to help over the phone. It is clear that she takes pride in the operation in Bali.

Loved Villa Champa

We had an excellent first impression right off the bat! Ando was at the airport to pick us up with a smile and I can tell you, the smile never left his face for the 2 weeks we were there! He is an outstanding host! He could not do enough for us. He was there every morning asking if we were going anywhere for they day or what we would like. I can't put into words what he added to our stay... fantastic! Ando, Alex, Ketut and all the staff were wonderful. The pictures of the property represented it perfectly... what you see is what you get. The villa was clean, warm and perfect for our group. I found the beds comfortable and it was great that each room had its' own ensuite bath. The pool was great! It was actually bigger than we expected from the pictures. Perfect for cooling off in the very hot Bali temperatures. I can say if we ever return to Bali that Villa Champa would be our choice to stay at again! Thank you to everyone once again!

Good experience

The villa is very beautiful. The staff are excellent and so nice. Anto is amazing and so accommodating and we love Ketuts cooking. We preferred it over going out the location was great except far from Ubud but having a driver helped. We did get bitten by mosquitoes but staff promptly sprayed property and lit candles for us. Only negative is the roosters on the land behind villa are noisy early in morning but we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend.
