"I came here with the goal of seeing the stars in a place with dark skies, and it did not disappoint. The cabin was perfect- everything was exactly as described. The kitchen had everything you’d need, and the bedrooms were very comfortable. We loved the kitchen table- it was spacious enough for playing games together and enjoying our meals. "If you want incredibly quiet, this is your place. About 4 miles from Wellsville, this rustic cabin is secluded in the woods. It is older and well worn but sturdy. A lovely deck for reading and relaxing or having coffee. We did not cook food but the small kitchenette is sufficient. Towels and some small toiletries are included. Parking is nearby. And no bears!"

"We had a wonderful time during our stay! The Octagon was clean and spacious! This was the perfect home to relax and unwind! We enjoyed the game room. We had great star viewing each night on the deck. The large fire pit was perfect for s’mores! We enjoyed exploring the land; checking out the creek, trails, and pond area. Joe was very responsive with any questions we had leading up to our stay. Just a couple notes and why we didn’t give 5 stars- the rooms were a little less private due to gaps...

"I would like to give this property as many stars as we was able to see …. A MILLION STARS!!!! Everything was perfect. You can tell our host has pride in his property and wants his guest to thoroughly enjoy their stay! Perfect location for stargazing! Loved the Lumber museum right across the street and my adult kids were able to rent an ATV just steps away from the cabin! A million stars!!!!"

"This is what I call getting away. My family had a great week from early morning hot tub soaks to family feuds over playing Uno and Monopoly! We only got one clear night in the star gazing field and the moon was a bit to bright but it was still beautiful. The property is clean and well stocked with just about everything you could need! We will definitely be back!"
