My husband and I stayed in the cabin for a getaway to see fall foilage and visit local state parks. The cabin is nestled among trees with lots of privacy. It was very peaceful and relaxing and we watched the sunrise from the front porch. It is in a very rural setting and driving through all the small towns and visiting local restaurants was fun for us. The cabin was very comfortable, clean, and the kitchen was well stocked. Great place to settle in for the evening after some great hiking.

This cabin is absolutely perfect! It is very clean and cozy, and is in a perfect location. We enjoyed the secluded location yet it is close enough to everywhere we had planned to go. The owner does an excellent job of communicating important information...better than any others that I have experienced. We really hope to return to the area in the future and will definitely be staying here again!

Awesome property! My wife and I spent the Fourth of July weekend at this tremendous cabin. We were able to hit 3 state parks - Letchworth, Stony Brook, AND Watkins Glen. Definitely would stay here again.

Most beautiful log cabin ever!!!!!

We can’t wait to go back to this place again next year!! This beautiful place was well stocked and has so many amenities!! The decor is amazing and their huge binder with things to do in the area was so organized and well thought out. Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants beauty, peace, serenity, etc., etc. Thank you, Peggy and Bob for being great hosts and sharing your beautiful place.

This was my 5th year coming to this cabin for a total of 8-9 times. I absolutely love coming here and relaxing in the peaceful little cabin that the host built for themselves and us to enjoy. There is plenty to do whether it’s going to the state parks nearby, checking out the bisons, going in town for some breakfast or even hiking through the woods behind the cabin they made for us to enjoy. I would recommend anyone to come here and enjoy a peaceful getaway.

A quiet, comfy, cozy hideaway

Nestled in a little clearing, surrounded by woods, this is a lovely spot to kick back and relax. The location is also perfect for exploring all that the area has to offer… Letchworth and Stony Brook State Parks are both close by, and are definitely worth visiting. And the Empire Pass provided by your hosts means you can visit both at no charge. Back at the cabin, you’ll enjoy the comfortable woodsy decor, and the fact that everything is so very, very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped, the bed in the main floor bedroom is comfortable (we didn’t use the loft) and the hosts have provided a lot of little notes and hints to make your stay easier and more enjoyable. And don’t let the short stretch of dirt road scare you off… it’s wide, very well maintained, and lightly travelled… can’t imagine it being an issue for any vehicle.

Girls trip

My friend and I stayed at the cabin so that we could hike at Letchworth. The cabin was absolutely spotless and I was overwhelmed by the information that Peg left. She had a binder full of local attractions and restaurants and other information about the area. I would absolutely stay again and also recommend it to anyone looking to visit the area.

Perfect “cabin in the woods” with modern conveniences

We had an excellent family retreat. Staying in the cabin is a lovely cozy warm experience. Very clean and well maintained. The cabin and property have their unique personality which makes the stay interesting. Quite a find! We got a cabin in the woods experience with all modern comforts. There are trails on the property and a fire pit and logs and necessary equipment for fire including outdoor furniture. There is wifi, tv, dvds, music. There is a NY state park pass which was very handy for the excellent Letchworth park nearby.

Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy little cabin. Peggy thought of everything you may ever need, and more! The cabin is well stocked, clean, well maintained and just the right size for 2 couples. It was a good location for the hiking we did in Letchworth State Park. Highly recommend staying in this Cabin!

Deer Camp at the Cozy Cabin

We stayed at the cabin and hunted the nearby public land. The cabin is in the country but a short drive to Nunda for groceries, gas etc. and in a great location for accessing various state forests/parks. The cabin itself is very nice, modern and well stocked with everything we needed including fun games and a fire pit. The dirt roads near the cabin are very quiet and nice for walks or runs. Peggy was great to communicate with, I would definitely stay here again!

Super host cozy beautiful knotty pine cabin

Very high end well maintained inviting cabin and grounds. Beautiful knotty wood floors and log walls. Peggy goes above and beyond to ensure guests are welcome and have everything they need to enjoy their stay. She also has a binder with local site seeing and eating recommendations. She has useful labels and tips posted around the cabin making it easy to find what you need. She has DVDs and binoculars that were great for viewing the night sky. The firepit was beautiful with provided split wood and comfortable adirondack chairs where we enjoyed smores and wine.

The BEST Cozy Cabin!

We wanted to celebrate our 55th anniversary in a cabin near Letcchworth Park, NY. I jumped on this cabin as soon as I saw it and I was NOT disappointed. Everything was perfect, the cabin was cozy with perfect craftsmanship and such lovely decorations. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to get away! Our host, Peg was so kind and helpful! This is the place to stay!
