The villa was stunning, lots of nooks to sit and enjoy the amazing view into pure jungle. Cleanliness of the villa was 10/10. Breakfast omelette was to dye for and the bread was also so delicious and fresh. Fruit and juice was also fresh and yummy! The staff were always smiling and happy to assist you in any way. Made was great with communication throughout our stay as was karma our driver. We had massages on the deck listening to the jungle, I recommend this!! The beds were very comfortable with air con rooms for a comfortable sleep! Extremely happy with our stay and highly recommend this villa!

We had an amazing 6 night stay at this villa as a family. It was perfect for us and all the staff were friendly. It was private and the outdoor areas were beautiful. We enjoyed the breakfasts each morning. Made the Villa Manager was professional and very helpful. We also used Karma as a driver and he was reliable and friendly.The villa was clean and so peaceful. My kids loved swimmin in the pool.We highly recommend this villa and plan to come back in the near future!

Stunning private villa

Wow! This Villa is stunning.Extremely spacious with lovely decor and amazing pool. Exceeded all expectations. Made our host was very welcoming and arranged transport, breakfast and massages. With beautiful views like this, I will definitely be back.

Great stay the Balinese Way

The villa was superb and Made has a great staff to cover all your needs. A little further out from central Ubud but there is an abundance of drivers/scooter rentals. I would recommend staying at this villa and plan to do the same on our return in the near future.

Excellent property , as described on website . Couple of very minor issues that were pretty much sorted within minutes by the team. Communication with the host excellent , Karma the driver was great . All in all highly recommended.

Stunning

As soon as we walked through the large doors we knew we had made the right decision. Very private and secluded, the team looked after us exceptional and a special thank you to our driver Komang who looked after us superbly and had some wonderful suggestions of places to visit.

Wonderfull retreat!

This Villa was a wonderful place for us to end our travels around Bali. Nestled between small rice paddies in the front and a lush jungle in the rear, it was ideal for sitting and listening to the wildlife in the evenings. The Villa was exceptionally well kept, and Made and his staff were extremely prompt in responding to our requests. We had the Villa's Chef cook dinner for us twice, and both times were fantastic. The Villa is also ideally situated, making an easy walk into Ubud, or to any of the other restaurants or shops along the road. Our driven, Wayan Locko, was great in helping us get to places that were outside of walking distance. We all wish we had a few more days to stay and relax at this villa!

Isolated. Not walkable to restaurants as advertised. Property needs updating. Odor in main house is nearly unbearable. Very “buggy.”. Major disappointment

Gorgeous place, wonderful and kind staff but needs some updates

Gorgeous villa right next to a rain forest. I would give it 5 stars except for some items noted below.Plus points -Beautifully decorated. Absolutely gorgeous. Wonderful swimming pool overlooking the rain forest. Awesome staff! The Manager Made communicated extremely well by WhatsApp throughout our stay. 5 Stars for the staff!! What could be upgraded- 1) No air conditioning in the main living room where we spent most of our time when home. Several days, it was cooler outside but steaming indoors in the living room. We couldn't keep the sliding doors open to prevent bugs from coming in. Belinda, I would suggest installing sliding netted doors for air exchange. 2) the netting on the beds in both rooms needs to be much longer in length.It's too short thus mosquitoes come inside the netting at night and party on you. The 2nd bedroom does not have full netting at all. It's open in the back with no coverage. This could be easily fixed too 3) since the villa is right in the middle of the rain forest, we encountered some big rodents in the kitchen in the evening. 4) Great location for Ubud but the traffic was horrendous to get to Uluwatu or Ulun Danu. You are basically sitting in traffic for 3.5 hours to get around. Thus, although a central location, not the right place to stay at if you want to get to see sites away from Ubud. Granted not directly a problem of the villa,it does impact you as I didnt expect stresses of horrid traffic when on a vacation. Traffic is worse than NY!

Paradise

Belinda’s Villa Kollibri is a dream, we did not want to leave. The moment we opened the door we felt like stepping into paradise. Villa Kollibri, what a gem! Apart from the beauty, everything was so well organized, long before our stay. Belinda’s service is very professional and communication was always very clear and fast. We felt so welcomed when we arrived, and everything we wished for has been prepared. The communication with Made, the manager of Villla Kolibri was fantastic and the ladies who made our breakfast in the morning and cleaned the rooms were so lovely and helpful. Everything was just WOW! and made our stay in Ubud so special and an unforgettable memory. I highly recommend Villa Kollibri, we will definitely come back. Our two girls loved it so much. Belinda is an amazing host and does everything to fulfill your desires. We already miss this place! Paradise Perfection

From the moment we booked our holiday with Belinda (the owner) until the last minute we were dropped at the airport by Wayan (our driver) everything was perfection. My only hesitation in writing this review is that the secret will be out... Ubud is fabulous and Villa Kolibri Saudura is heaven on earth. The setting is even lovelier than the photos and the staff are a world treasure... and I have traveled a lot of the world!! Tucked away from the bustle of Ubud, this Villa sits nestled between a rice field and a jungle humming with wildlife. If you don't adore this space, then nothing will satisfy you wherever you go. One of my favorite spots ever!!!

Everything we wanted...

We were absolutely blown away by this place! The outlook over the forest was breathtaking and gave a real sense of privacy. The villa itself is beautifully designed and tastefully furnished and had a lot more spacious than expected - it felt fresh and new! The location was the perfect distance from town to feel private and secluded yet still conveniently close enough to Ubud for restaurant meals and a spot of yoga in the morning. The staff were amazing and couldn't do enough to help make our stay a pleasure. I've stayed in some incredible hotels before but Villa Saudara will be my fist preference from now on!

Stuuning billa close to Ubud

Beautifully located and decorated this villa provides the perfect get away. Close enough to Ubud to enjoy the shopping, dining and entertainment yet overlooking natural surroundings with the kingfishers providing the only distraction. The villa is well designed and the amenities high quality. The very friendly and helpful villa staff made our stay a delight. We are frequent travellers to Bali and this property is even better than the photos suggest.

What an amazing holiday we had at Villa Saudara! Such a beautiful place. The finishing is second to none. Lovely pool overlooking the jungle below. Every thing has been thought of to cater for guests from being picked up at the airport to scooter hire ,wifi etc. the villa is not to far out of Ubud but far enough away to have a tranquil and peaceful holiday set amongst the beautiful rice paddy's . This is real Bali! Will defiantly be recommending Vills Saudara to all our friends. Awesome place

Stunning Villa 5 mins from center of Ubud

Thankyou so much Belinda and all the Villa Saudara staff for creating such a beautiful villa I have to say its sensational. I have stayed in a few villas in Bali but have to say this one tops them all. With outstanding views beautiful decor the villa is a fusion of traditional architecture with modern interior design to perfection. We came to the villa to celebrate a family members birthday. It was perfect. Belinda goes out of her way to ensure your stay is memorable. From airport pick-up to Made organising motorbikes on arrival (so that you don't have to source) meant you slipped into holiday mode from the start. The villa is perfectly situated just a couple of minutes outside of Ubud. Location is perfect as it gives you the best of both worlds- the quiet serenity of the villa with its beautiful outlook is totally relaxing but if you fancy popping into Ubud for a browse or for dinner the short drive takes you through the local village and rice fields where you can envisage local life. Thankyou too Belinda for sourcing and providing contact phone numbers for restaurants, spas, massages and tours. We loved having the massage treatments on tap and in the privacy of our own bale. We also appreciated the inclusion of the mobile phone for our use as it meant it was so easy to book anything without using our overseas mobile. We would highly recommend Villa Kolibri and will definately be back. We have returned home totally relaxed with fantastic memories.

A stunning villa with the 'wow' factor in Ubud

I rarely write reviews, but after our experience with staying in Villa Saudara, I just had to share this with people seeking something really special and at a reasonable rate. My husband and I absolutely loved our stay there and couldn't wait to return to the villa when we went out ( Ubud centre about 5 mins by scooter or car). The decor and fixtures and fitting are lovely, the staff so willing to please and with a backdrop of the jungle behind the infinity pool it so relaxing and peaceful! Thanks Belinda for making this trip so special for us, we will definitely return as soon as we can.

Amazing!!

What a beautiful villa!! I've spent a lot of time in Ubud and have never had an experience like this. Sitting in that pool makes you feel like you are floating the in the rainforest! Beds are comfortable and clean, the bathrooms are huge with plenty of hot water and the staff are always there to help. Thanks Belinda, Made and Wayan for making this trip one to remember.
