Great place, location, size and amenities. Listing/rental company was terrific. The only negative is there are a few minor details with the home- on again/off again ice machine, sliding door hardware, exposed nails in stair treads. Again nothing major but things that need attention. A great time was had by all.

We were a family of 10 that stayed at Heaven by the Sea. The house was lovely and looked exactly like the pictures on the website. We went to the beach most morning and spent the afternoon at the pool. The waterfall feature was special and we took a number of family photos by the waterfall. We did heat the pool.The house was perfect for a group. Also, we were able to walk to a number of shops and a restaurant in the evening. Mostly we cooked our meals and found everything we needed in the kitchen. Somehow many of the teaspoons were gone but we made do with some plastic spoons we purchased. We informed the management company about the teaspoons for future guests but we were fine without them.We all loved staying at Heaven by the Sea and would definitely go back.

Family time on Tybee

Some minor issues such as some fans not working, some lights didn’t work properly and we saw several cockroaches in the house. One of the showers didn’t drain well. But overall we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was well stocked. There was lots of room to spread out. Access to the beach was convenient.

Gorgeous and Luxurious

The house is beautiful and has a semi-private path to the beach (the path is shared with a few other houses that are on the same street, but there is no public parking on the street, so you will rarely see other people on the path). I LOVED the layout of the house (two gorgeous master bedrooms and a media room on the top level, with the rest of the communal living areas and three other bedrooms on the first floor, plus a bonus room in the lower level). The pool was so pretty and we loved lounging on the covered porch that overlooked it. I was not familiar with Tybee Island before visiting, and it's not a stretch to say that this is one of the nicest houses on the island. I'm really glad I booked this property, because a lot of the houses are either dilapidated, far away from the beach, or not single units (apartments, townhouses, or condos). If you want a beautiful house that is leaps and bounds better than what most of the island has to offer, then book this property. The management team is also really nice and super-helpful. I do wish that they would upgrade to a doorknob that requires a code so that a trip to the rental office is not necessary for check-in/check-out, but that is a pretty minor issue in the big scheme of things. Overall it was an outstanding stay. :)

Lovely house needs some love

The property is very nice. The rooms are large, the location is steps from the ocean, gorgeous views from the second floor, spacious rooms etc. The kids thoroughly enjoyed the lower floor game room. However, the house needs some love. Everything is a bit tattered -- upholstery, cabinets, flooring, HVAC ... We had the unfortunate experience of being there during the 2022 Christmas freeze and the heating system on the main floor failed. We didn't get space heaters for 3 days.

Family Vacation

This house was beautiful and spacious. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We cooked dinners two of the night in the fully equipped kitchen. Loved the gas range!!! The house has it's own path to the uncrowded beach which was nice. Beautiful view out of the upper bedroom. The only glitch we really had was with the pool. It was not ready to use when we got there and took several of our days to get it cleaned and available to swim in. The management did respond to our calls and even refunded us for the several days we were unable to use the pool. We miss Tybee already. :(

Family vacation to celebrate my husband and i turning 60

We had a fabulous time in Tybee Island! The beach and pool were enjoyed by all. Being from Iowa, the beach was a special treat. We also booked a Dr Joe tidal pool ecology tour. What fun our grandbabies had with Dr Joe!

Spacious and Beautiful Beach Home!

Our group were 13 girls. Positives- Check in/check-out was very easy. For an extra $100 they allowed us to check-in around 12:30-1pm. Stayed here with 13 people total. It was spacious enough for everyone and large closets to put luggage so it's out of the way. Used the washer and dryer and it worked as expected. Kitchen was pretty stocked of almost anything you could think of regarding cooking utensils/pans/cups etc. Plenty of refrigerator space with a couple in the home. Plenty of dishwashing soup. AC worked well. Beds were extremely comfortable. The private path to the beach was amazing and the beach was beautiful! The house was very clean. The upstairs suites are STUNNING!!! There was a comfortable daybed outside on the covered patio. Someone was always sleeping out there every night! Downfalls and Property Responses: Went through the process to pay to heat the pool. It was not appropriately heated for us. I was informed it was not heated from maintenance staff on day 3 of our trip and informed the property management. We were refunded for the "pool heating fee". The fountain does not work on the pool per the maintenance staff. Per the property staff "it turns on at different times of the day". But it didn't and that doesn't match the house description of it running from 10a-2p. The pool patio had several mounds of fire ants. Called and reported to property management. Someone from maintenance came by that day and "treated them". It didn't help. Called again, someone came by and actually treated them and this actually work. Happy this was not ignored and appreciated the prompt communication/action. The garbage disposal did not work upon arriving. Called property management 3x about this and it was not fixed during our stay. I just informed them by message as we were departing (office wasn't open yet) and was given a phone call to apologize and reassurance that this would not be filed as our fault (although they had no record of my complaints for this from any of my phone calls). I was not charged for any damages. Showers often ran out of hot water. I forgot to note this in any communication to property staff. Likely was due to us all taking showers at the same time, and all women. Other- There was a working elevator. We did not use it. There is a couple parking spots at the house on the property.

Tybee Tradition 2021

The home is gorgeous, but practical. Very clean and comfortable. Location was perfect. Near enough to the beach and yet not in a congested area. The management company was responsive to the miner inconveniences we experienced. We would love to stay here again.

Awesome place! 1st class kind of property. Had a issue with the hot tub. Oceanfront reality rectified the situation. Second time staying hoping to come back for a third.

Family Vacation

The property and house was beautiful and clean. Plenty of room to comfortably house myself and my husband, our 3 grown sons with their wives, our 4 grandchildren (ages 3, 2, 1, and 9 months). We paid to heat the pool which for us Floridians was a good idea. The access to the beach was very convenient with a walking path right outside the back gate and a boardwalk 2 houses down the street (for stroller access). This house is also conveniently located to the main street and easy access to restaurants and shopping. Our only disappointment was that the hot tub wasn't working at all (however the mgmt company offered us a fair refund) and the elevator was in the process of repair too so we were unable to use it upon arrival. The mgmt company sent someone out who was very nice and he gave us a work around for the elevator but none of us were comfortable enough with doing it that way so we never did use the elevator the entire time there. Having the elevator would definitely have helped to get all the luggage to the top levels especially since that's where we put the families with the youngest babies who come with pack-n-plays and a whole host of extra items that take space and had to be carried up 2 levels. They couldn't complain too much tho since the view from the top level (and the rooms up there) are spectacular. We all enjoyed our time there and would highly recommend this location.

Fantastic House

This house is amazing. It is close to downtown Tybee and the beach. We had 9 adults and 1 child staying here. The porch is it's own Oasis. My husband and I spent most of our time there. Will return if we come back to Georgia.

Beautiful Getaway

Two families, seven of us in all with three boys ages, 17, 17, and 13. It’s our second time to Tybee and the best accommodations of all the places we have visited. The house is fantastic, the access to the beach is convenient, and the pool and backyard scene are perfect. Days were spent on the beach and the pool with one afternoon excursion to Savannah. Dinners out included 80e Gastropub and The Crab Shack. Both recommended. At dark we had riotous game nights with a bit of competitive smack talk and lots of laughs. Weather was fantastic all week with one heck of a lightening show Thursday evening. We are definitely interested in returning.

Amazing family weekend

We felt totally at home as soon as we arrived! Plenty of room for family of 9 and plenty of space to be together for meals and just hanging out. Beautiful setting on the beach and view of pool from the spacious deck. Loved everything about this wonderful vacation.

Beautiful spacious home with lovely ocean view!

We booked Heaven by the Sea for a 10-member family long weekend to celebrate my husband's birthday and it did not disappoint! The home was spectacular, roomy and beautifully decorated. We loved that there was a en-suite bath with every bedroom, the huge outdoor covered porches, the beautiful open kitchen and the 3rd floor Master Suite and guest BRs were amazing. The only negative I have is that we were very disappointed with the elevator situation. I particularly picked this home because I have bad knees and stairs are very painful for me...the elevator was most important. While we did have access to the elevator once in the house with no problem, it was not directly accessible from the ground level upon check-in or each time that we left. Guests are not given a key to the ground floor foyer entry door or a garage door opener where the elevator could be accessed at that level. So, my husband had to go up to the main entry door on the 2nd floor, use the key, go in, take the stairs or elevator down and open the ground floor entryway from the deadbolt inside to be able to let me in where I could access the elevator. It was very inconvenient to have to do that each time we left the house. If this problem were corrected, it would have been absolutely perfect and our rating would be 5 stars!

Beautiful place

The house was gorgeous and well equipped. We had a problem with the hot tub heating, which was a disappointment, but it was a wedding weekend, so we didn't have a lot of free time. Bathtub in master was messed up, only the sprayer would work. Fireplace not functioning was a disappointment because we had a couple of cold nights! It would have been great! Someone left a broken lamp bulb in a lamp in the sitting room and when we went to turn it on, it sparked! Scared us to death. We unplugged the lamp and threw the broken bulb away. Having 3 icemakers in the house is really a great idea, but none of them worked! We had to laugh. All in all though, we loved the home. Very well done. Thank you Sandi Lorch

Gorgeous, comfortable home. Very affordable. Convenient locations.

Some maintenance issues. Soaking tub upstairs did not work. No ac in the yellow room. Missing cranks for windows in the larger master bedroom which meant no open windows to enjoy the cool weather and sounds of the surf. Several shower heads need cleaning. Shower and water hose by the pool not working well,so difficult to rinse off. Gas grill clogged and not easy to light...didn't maintain temperature. Still, a lovely place for our yearly framily vacation.

Perfect!

We stayed here for a girls trip and it was amazing. The house was beautiful and large enough to accommodate our entire group comfortably. The beach is gorgeous and the weather was perfect. We will definitely come back!
