Cute beachy vibe place, fabulous location, generally in good condition wirh a few minor issues. Would have liked a curtain on front door and a lock on back patio screen door. The front door was a bit loose and needed weather stripping and the living room air vent was hanging down a bit but were all fixed before we left. Other than that, sunrises or sunsets from the many beach access points beach are all just a few minutes walk from the front door. Definately recomend!

At first glance the home is in a convenient location and the online pics look great. In person the home needs upkeep, painting and repairs. While we understand it’s an older property it’s showing dirt and it needs deeper cleaning, filters vents etc. cracks in bathroom sink, chunks out of front door trim. Texted the office about a problem we had while there.

We had a very nice stay. The location is fantastic. So close to everything. Nice neighborhood to walk around. If you have small dogs, which we do (chihuahuas) please be advised that there are places in the fence that they are able to get out. This is NOT a fault of the property....it is just the things that pet owners must be aware of. Please, in all properties that you may rent, check the fences before setting your pets loose. We do this each time we stay at different locations. We bring provisions for these types of incidents. Just an FYI for you pet owners. We highly suggest this no-frills property for a relaxing get-a-way. Thank you!!

Overall very good. Very clean upon our arrival. Seating and mattresses are not comfortable. The dryer is missing the screen and is clogged with lint so seems hazardous.

My husband and I stayed for 7 days and enjoyed our time. Homie and comfortable, which is what I like in a beach cottage. The bathroom is a bit snug but my husband likes using outdoor showers during beach stays. A previous tenant left beach chairs and umbrellas on the back porch so check before reserving with the locals shops. We loved our stay and would stay here again for sure👍👍

The property was clean and very cute. Short walk to everything. The pool was kept tidy and warm. Only complaint was that the bed and couch were very squeaky and kind of uncomfortable.

Bathroom extremely uncomfortable. Fence is rotting out. Rain flooded gate entry making it difficult to enter property. Table needs repairs Cute cottage nice location Unfortunately I had medical emergency while on vacation stayed in ICU 3 days hospital 5. bathroom alone would make me consider different accomodations next trip. All in a nice unit

We had a wonderful stay at Surf Puppy! It was in a great location to mid-beach and a short distance to some really great food spots. Loved the outdoor shower and the fenced in property was great for the kiddos!

My husband and I stayed at Surf Puppy for a month and thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. It was clean and super cute! The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. The cottage is very convenient to beaches, bars and restaurants so we could walk everywhere. I would highly recommend this property if you are visiting Tybee Island.
