Just Gettin Tanner

The house is right on the beach it is older baths need some repair and updating. The back deck needs a bug zapper for the amount of flying insects it can be unusable. Overall I would not rent this house again I think its overpriced considering the age and repairs that need to be done as well as the fact there are so many rentals close it was somewhat noisey and it is listed as having a private boardwalk but actually everyone in the area uses it.

Perfect beach location!

We loved everything about our stay. Beautiful home just steps away from the beach. Super clean. Very private and quiet. We were there for Thanksgiving and it could not have been nicer. Kitchen had everything we needed when we didn’t feel like going out. But when we did, the restaurants on Tybee were a quick car ride away and were excellent. It was our first visit to Tybee Island, but we’ll definitely be back and hopefully we’ll be able to stay here again.

Location location location!

I can’t say enough about the location of this property. It is DIRECTLY on the beach. The boardwalk is in the yard and takes you straight onto the beach. From the boardwalk to the water was a very short walk as well, which was nice with 2 toddlers and a 65+ with mobility issues. The beach was not crowded at all either! And because there was not a lot of people traffic, we saw so much nature! Every morning we saw jellies, starfish, horseshoe crabs and more. It was amazing. The house was on the older side compared to neighboring homes, but it was cozy and we didn’t feel like we had to be more careful than normal. The multiple decks were amazing, and we would legit watch dolphins from the upstairs deck. They were so close! The downstairs was a blast for the kids - between the games and the “club house” as they put it, they felt like it was their own special place. Again, the house is older (I live in a 120 year old house so doesn’t bother me one bit), but just keep that in mind - creeky doors and floors, but the house was clean and spacious. The multiple livingroom areas, plenty of seating in the dining area (with amazing views) - it was all worth the price. Only thing that I have to complain about, I felt like check in was a bit late and check out was a bit early, but I know they have to clean the large house before next guests arrive.

Wonderful home with beautiful views

Very nice location. Property was right on the beach which was not over crowded. Perfect for family of all ages. Property offered plenty of space for a large family with privacy. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

Tybee Girls trip

A group of friends and I recently stayed at this property. The house was spacious and clean and had amazing beach access. We spent a lot of time hanging out and eating on the deck. Was perfect for our trip.

Great family stay

We loved our stay at the Tybee house! The bottom floor was the perfect space for the four kids… Although it did get a little cold at night… There was no separate heating down there. (Extra blankets or a space heater would be great!) The house has a boardwalk direct to the beach, which was lovely. The kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms were very comfortable. This house is definitely on our revisit list!

Perfect, quiet waterfront

We wanted a waterfront home without a lot of the crowds. This house on North Beach was perfect! The house is exactly as described. It was perfect for our family in that we all had our spaces and private bathrooms. Any issues we had were handled quickly by Tybee Vacation Rentals. The views from 2 of the bedrooms was just as phenomenal as the views from the living spaces.

Perfect Family Getaway

This was our first time staying on Tybee Island, and it was a perfect location for our family which included 2 teens and 3 grandparents. The view was amazing, and the home was clean and spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for us all. We enjoyed the game tables downstairs and the comfortable gathering spaces upstairs. The beach was clean, quiet, and just a short walk away.

Just got tanner!!

Excellent location; excellent property; spacious and bright; all appliances and electronics worked;; only drawback was the absence of kitchen knives - the kind in the block, i.e., chef, filet, slicer, carver, peeler, etc. Just nitpicking now!

SPACIOUS BEACH HOUSE WITH AMAZING VIEWS!!

This home is perfect for any large group or family. 4 bedrooms and 4 full baths. The downstairs bedroom has 4 twin beds great for kids or teenagers. The kitchen and dining area overlooks the ocean. The family room has a wall of windows for the view. Enjoy sitting on the back porch....so relaxing! Two of the bedrooms have beautiful ocean views. Easy access to the boardwalk to the beach. Although the home is older it is clean and extremely comfortable. Our family made wonderful memories on this trip thanks to this beautiful oceanfront home. We look forward to returning next time! We rent homes several times a year for vacations and gatherings. This was truly an amazing vacation rental!!

Relax the day away.

Overall great time but unfortunately had issues with several lights and a safety concern with the stove not wanting to turn off thus delaying our planned daily outing. Cleaning needs to take care of ceiling fans as dust accumulation caused some irritation for my wife. Bathroom shower issues and broken window frames made it hard to open and close some windows. Overall great experience. Would definitely return.
