Overall very pleased. Solid house near the wedding venue. The house has a problem with wasps on the upstairs porch that overlooks the street and the little pool is getting killed by leaves. Initially we needed more bath towels but the property manager was incredibly responsive and dropped a few more off. We were not sure how to get to the beach so we just hung out at the house. Could not get regular tv in some bedrooms. AC worked well. Very clean. Lowest level bathroom has a gap in the shower that gets the bathroom floor all wet and there is no place in that shower for soap or shampoo other than the floor. Some super hosts homes have shampoo, conditioner and shower gel but this one does not. It was a good stay and is comfortable for 9 adults. Only one has an en-suite bath. Then it is two bedrooms sharing each bath on the first two floors.

Location of property was good-easy walk to the beach. My recommendations for the property would include updating the living room furniture as it was tired and used. The downstairs bathroom definitely needed upgrades to the shower. All showers needed a deep clean to remove the mold and mildrew. The kitchen sink requires a good cleaning to remove all the stains. Pool was very nice however recommend landscaper to weed and clean up the area. The front porch showed lots of wood rot at the top of the ceiling. This might be nit picky but for the price I would hope this would be taken care of.

Good times

Great beach within walking distance!

In general, a nice place to stay. Quiet, lots of space, and very close to the beach. I have stayed at a lot of vacation homes so I have certain expectations. I might make a few suggestions or make sure future guests know what to expect. The property was clean and some furniture was very nice such as the outdoor seating and beds were comfortable. However, the towels were small and not plentiful. Only 1 kitchen towel was provided. If you plan to stay for more than a few days, you will need to wash towels or don’t shower much or cook. You will only find 1 laundry packet. So, you may want to pack or purchase laundry detergent pods. Wonderful laundry room though. If you are hoping for a whirlpool tub…keep hoping. The property advertised a whirlpool tub in the master but the jets are not functioning. The master closet needs a fresh coat of paint and the light did not work either. The XBox in the gaming room would turn on but the remotes would not sync. I have two iGen kids so if they couldn’t get to working…that’s saying something. We did find several camp chairs and a beach cooler that could be used for beach days. That was a nice surprise. Kitchen had lots of dishes and several needed items for big meals. The pantry had a juicer, ice cream machine, blender, and Tupperware. The ice maker kept up with our families ice needs. A large grill was also furnished. A couple repairs were needed though. The refrigerator door ice-water dispenser was broken, the kitchen sink faucet is loosely attached, and several bar stools are missing rungs. If you need plastic wrap or aluminum foil, pack your own- none on premise. As long as you know that property has been well used, needs some repairs, and you have to bring/purchase all consumables- you will not be surprised. In summary, this property is nice but not memorable.

Beautiful property

It must have been renovated in the past few years. Fresh paint and very clean. Can see the water but you have to go down the road a ways to get to a beach access. The elevator was very helpful since it has three levels.

Tybee Quiet Gem

We brought family from out of town to share this beautiful property. The beach in the Fall is the best time if year. The locals were so nice. We thoroughly enjoyed this property and the Tybee community.

Great time. Had trouble with the main TV and ran out of Propane gas (stove and oven). Management did handle the problems and also gave us coupons for breakfast at a local restaurant. We did enjoy our time together and would recommend this property!

Great Experience

This was my first time doing a VRBO rental for a vacation. I couldn't have been happier with my experience! The house was very accommodating for all 12 of us that stayed. It was great to having the living quarters separate from the sleeping arrangements. The elevator was a great asset to assist with all of the groceries and heavy coolers that we brought. We brought the items with us, but it would have been nice to have been told to bring paper towels and laundry detergent. We were unsure on how to use the cable, but didn't need it as most of our time was spend outside, or playing cards. The garage area was a fantastic place for our teenage boys to hang out and feel they had their own area. Definitely recommend this property to any large parties.

Accommodated our family of 10 for the weekend.

Nice place, close enough to the beach, nice drive on the island and only a few minutes from Savannah. Be prepared to climb a LOT of steps in this house as the 'living space' is on the top floor. There is no bathroom on the bottom floor and there was no extra toilet paper in the house- only what was on the rolls when we arrived (maybe this was pandemic related?). Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Weekend Away

Very nice house for rent with plenty of space! We absolutely loved the balconies and views of the water! There were some issues with the appliances, the wine cooler was not cold, the microwave did not work, there was an issue with the kitchen sink, and the refriderater water did not dispense. Thankfully the property managers quickly provided us with a replacement microwave! All in all, we would definitely stay again!

A little disappointed! (Not about the house)

Our family rents beach houses to avoid eating out all week and spend time together. We bring groceries and have planned out meals. Two hours before check in I receive an email stating that the oven in our unit is broken. I'm told we have a "loaner" until they can fix the stove. The loaner turns out to be a toaster oven! I understand things happen unexpectedly. Our meal plans had to be severely altered. My frustration comes from the lack of attempt to compensate us for the inconvenience; even after I asked! The house is beautiful. Despite the meal problems we had a great time. Spending time with friends and family helped ease the pain.
