We met our daughter and her family on Tybee to relax over the Christmas holiday. The pictures of the home accurately represent it, although it is even more comfortable and welcoming in person. The hosts obviously put a lot of thought into what guests might need and used quality materials in the home. The beds are comfy, and there is ample space in each bedroom to move around. We were in the main bedroom and loved going out to the porch at night to listen to the ocean. We also liked the ample parking, as we had two vehicles and a golf cart. The beaches are close and easy to get to from the house. I have some mobility issues, so the elevator allowed me to move about freely and was much appreciated! Having a washer and dryer was extremely helpful. If you plan on using it, however, you will need to bring or buy detergent at the local grocery store. The hosts have done an excellent job in making a place where you can feel at home in beautiful surroundings! We'll return to Tybee and would definitely rent this home again.

Everything was great. I rented the house to be able to stay with family from other areas of the country. It was a quick 30 minute drive into Savannah each day. We stopped at Tybean for coffee along the way. The house was great with plenty of room for all of us. We didn’t use the local pool, so I have no rating for the pool. But we would stay here again next time we’re in town. Thank you.

Great stay with a couple recommendations

We recently stayed at the house with extended family ages 10-87 so was a great home for all those ages and in between! The ping pong table was a hit for all and walking distance to beach and restaurants was great! Unfortunately a little cold to swim but walking on the beach and looking for shells and shark teeth was a blast. I would recommend adding shower curtains to the walk-in showers in the bathrooms. With extended family all staying together and sharing bathrooms, if one person was in the shower, the rest of the bathroom (sink, toilet) couldn’t be used. Would also recommend some additional utensils as for some reason the only spoons we could find were XL or XS. Minor details after an all in all great vacation.

Elegant and comfortable

Loved the property- decorated so tastefully. A few things that could be improved upon---master bedroom needs curtains or blinds. Big glass door right in front of bedroom--privacy and light problem as it faces the street. Also, fan in master bedroom does not work and it gets warm at night. But great location, comfortable hang out with the family. The porch was surprisingly relaxing and cool. We loved table tennis in the garage.

Amazing Week At Tybee

It's one of our best family vacations yet! The home and its location were perfect. The home was nicely decorated with plenty of room for eight people, and the elevator was a great addition for our elderly moms. The house's porches are ideal for catching the breeze from the ocean. Moreover, the house is just far from the primary road leading into Tybee, making the neighborhood uber-quiet but close enough to bike to the beach, restaurants, and Tybee pier. The community pool felt brand new and only a few blocks from the house. All in all, this place is on our list for our next trip back to Tybee!

Nice new furnishings and house wares

This listing shows a sofa bed in the living room but that is only a couch not a sofa bed for those who might need the extra sleeping space. This house had a lot of dishes and all of the kitchen amenities we needed. The kitchen ware is all looked new which was nice. During our stay the dishwasher was not working but we were told about that before our arrival and a technician came during our stay to work on it. We soiled some bedding during our stay that we were unable to clean properly and the property manager was very kind and accommodating our cleaning needs. The elevator was helpful for my elderly mother and operated smoothly. This house is in walking distance to south beach and to the fishing peer beach. It was a great location for us.

Home away from home

We had everything we needed. The house was beautiful just like the pictures. We may try to get it again next year. I bought my brother to celebrate his 76th birthday. He had an enjoyable time. My daughter has two kids that both have autism. They all needed time away and the kids dad too. If you go you will have a great time.

The house is great and the elevator was a huge help! House was super clean and very well equipped. Waiting distance to the small downtown area. Only bummer of the trip was the dishwasher didn't work and it was over the weekend so there wasn't anyone to come and fix.

Great Location!

Less than a 10 minute walk to restaurants, shops, and the beach! It was a perfect location. The house was spacious. Internet went out a couple times but not a big deal. The master bedroom blinds only cover about 80% of the windows, so if you like to sleep in a dark room, do not choose the master bedroom. Overall, a great find!

Great spot for our gathering

The four bedrooms worked great for our group of two couples and two teens. The house was exactly what we were expecting, walking distance to restaurants, the beach and the pool if we wanted to go there. It was a good spot for us to walk and run around the island too! The dining room was a great spot for puzzles!
