The apartment was very clean and accommodating. The kitchen had everything you could need with very nice appliances. Located in a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of the grocery store and the beach.I would definitely consider for my next stay on Tybee!

Clean and simple, Only issue was trying to figure out the ac controls due to small digital script but really not an issue and the owner was very informative Only a couple small blacks to beach and two average blocks to the hub of Tybee

Cathy's Octopus Lair is adorable. The space is clean, well-maintained, and filled with cute marine trinkets. The covered porch and rocking chairs are perfect for just relaxing in the shade and watching the local animals. The coolest thing happened. An osprey has moved in to the trees, and has been hanging out. You can hear it call, especially in the morning and evening.

Great getaway on Tybee Island

My wife and I spent 4th of July weekend at the Lair and we had such a a great time! Our host, Cathy, was amazing and gave us great information about the area and the check in process was so simple. The apartment was very clean, and had plenty of space. It is conviniently located close to the beach access and so many great restaurants and shops. If you're looking for a relaxing beach trip, this apartment is an amazing choice.

Much needed getaway

Island Fun!!

The Octupus Lair was exactly what my wife and I needed to enjoy a beautiful week on Tybee Island! Let me say first The Hostess Cathy is amazing! The communications with her was outstanding and the information she sent us before hand on what to do on Tybee Island was perfect! The location of The Octupus Lair is spot on! Only 2 blocks to the beach walking. Cathy and her staff we very caring and polite and I highly recommend staying at The Octupus Lair if you are headed to Tybee Island! Cozy, Comfortable, and Clean!

We enjoyed our seven night stay at the Octopus Lair last month. We found the accommodations to be perfect for myself and my husband. Wonderful location close to beach and grocery store. So relaxing rocking on the screened in porch, listening to the morning birds and enjoying the evening sunsets. Cathy responded quickly to any questions we had and the check in/check out was super easy. The washer and dryer on site were very handy as were the beach chairs. Loved watching the bike path activity and experiencing the Tybee Island vibe! Our first visit won’t be our last!

Wonderful

From booking to check out it all went well. The owner was very on top of everything with her descriptions of the property and any extras I had questions about. It located perfect on the block as far as traffic and ease of coming and going. It’s close to everything but not too close to get all the noise. I would rent this property again!

Amazing as always!

I first traveled here last year to Tybee and this is my second year here. Cathy the owner is truly amazing and this is a great walk to things close by even the beach!This year we got to see two ospreys perching up in the trees on the property, what a sight to see!This is very clean, just our size and again, Cathy the owner amazing and friendly, close to things in walking distance. Great place to stay and visit for a while and even make a friend or two! I would highly recommend.We look forward to returning again on our next visit there.

Octopus Lair

This was the perfect location for the St. Paddy's Day parade at Tybee!!! Owner Awesome to deal with on everything ! Great neighborhood for peace and quiet. Great for biking and golf carts. So close to restaurants and shops we walked everywhere ! We used shuttle to Savannah on Monday and it had a pick up site about two blocks away from away away

Anniversary Weekend

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We loved the short walk to the beach and into the town. The screened in porch was a plus, especially to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The only negative issue was the guests that were supposed to move in downstairs apartment on Friday, were given our code for the lockbox. They tried to contact Cathy, but unfortunately were unable to. I spent about a half an hour trying to help them. They ended up leaving and had another rental already in the works. It was definitely an odd situation. Otherwise, everything was exactly as stated Cathy was wonderful and contacted us immediately when we reached out to her. We would definitely stay at this location again and would recommend it to family and friends.
