Perfect place for a family get-together. The yard, the toys, and the games were a major hit with the kids (& adults). Tons of space for kids & grandkids to play. The chalet has so much space, never felt crowded.

We had a very nice holiday with our large family here. It is a sprawling house with tons of space for everyone. The hosts were very accommodating for our pet situation which was a big deal for us. We were excited for the game room and entertainment area but the games and furniture were pretty worn out and should really be replaced/updated. The host might also consider suggesting to guests that they bring drinking water.

The house was beautiful and had excellent natural lighting coming in. Perfect place for getting ready for our wedding. Plenty of places for people to get away and be in their own space. I will say that the bedrooms could use some chairs and tables/ dressers to set bags and things on and there wasnt a lot of porch/outdoor lighting

We had a great stay! There are a lot of stairs and different floors, but the place is roomy, well cared for and clean.

Neat place, great for large groups

This place had it all, nice outside areas, inside amenities, multiple areas for us to group up in. We will certainly be returning if we come north again!

80th birthday gathering

This property was perfect for my mom's 80th birthday. Plenty of room and things to do for 12 people, even on the rainy morning we spent indoors. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone! Well worth the drive to meet there.

Family get-away

After traveling for a wedding in Minneapolis, our family group rented the apartment and chalet for two nights. Weather and accommodations were great, local scenic attractions did not disappoint. Gooseberry Falls and Rustic Inn PIES were highlights. Only wish we were there longer.

Great place!

We loved our stay. We booked for a snowmobiling getaway with it being right on the trails, but there ended up being no snow. The place is in a great location so there was still a ton to do. Would recommend to anyone.

3 Night Getaway

Home was larger expected and worked out perfect for three families (six adults and 4 kids). Yard and indoor toys were a hit with grandkids! Hope to come back.

Spacious, Easy Access, Great Location

We had a great time. There are quirks here and there, but nothing that impacted our enjoyment of the home. Great movie/TV room. Sauna, ping pong, and indoor mini basketball were all well used. The EV chargers was a huge plus for us!

Beautiful place

Great space, though could have better sleeping areas. More pots and pans perhaps. Overall, a great place and owners were friendly and responsive.

Kitchen frustrations

Overall it was good. Our frustrations were with the kitchen which didn't seem to be well stocked with basic items for food prep. We couldn't find cutting boards, full set of measuring cups, measuring spoons, containers for leftovers (i.e., casserole dishes).

Perfect spot!

We spent our family vacation at this lovely spot. We had 5 adults and 5 boys between the ages of 10 and 8. Everyone found their favorite spots in the house. The boys played ping pong and basketball and enjoyed the theater area in the evenings. The kitchen was large and well equipped. The laundry room was a godsend! The location worked beautifully for day trips to hike, fish and explore. We highly recommend!

Wonderful family gathering at beautiful Two Harbors home

We had a fantastic family gathering at this Two Harbors home. We rate this property 5 stars. It was exactly as described and met/exceeded our expectations. The chalet and apartment were both very clean and the home is very well appointed. We enjoyed all areas of the home, especially the large kitchen, game room, kids playroom, large yard, patio and fire pit. We spent hours playing family softball and kickball games and enjoyed fun family time around the campfire. The location is perfect to easily get to many state parks and attractions along the north shore. We highly recommend this property and look forward to visiting again in the future.

Great family house

Our family of 5 plus grandparents stayed here and had a great time. There is so much room for gathering together as a family. The game room and playroom are wonderful and right off the family room. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed. Bedrooms were clean and well appointed. The bunk room was nice for the kids. My only complaint was the icy walkways. It was tricky for the grandparents and could have led to a fall. A better solution for that would be welcome.

Great place!

We had a great time. Things to note, the building is actually two separate units. One is the main house with three bedrooms plus the office. The other is an apartment with one bedroom and a loft. Both places have full kitchens and family rooms. They don't rent them separately anymore, which makes the five bedroom areas. The office has a day bed that was perfect for my grandson. Two of my single adult children stayed in the apartment side, and really appreciated having space away from everyone. Meanwhile, a grandparents really enjoyed having the grandchildren staying in the main space with us. There is a large grocery store in two harbors, which had plenty for us for our long weekend. The house is literally 5 minutes south of gooseberry falls where we also had a great time. There is a slight bit of road noise, but being from the cities, it really didn't bother us at all. We even saw a bear and deer in the yard. The yard and front porch did have a bit of poison ivy and/or oak, but it is the Northwoods after all. Both kitchens were fully stocked with pots, pans, and cooking utensils, and we didn't want for anything. The table in the apartment side easily fit four people, but the table in the main house had no problem fitting our large family of eight. And don't get me started on the super comfortable recliner in the apartment family room. We will definitely stay here again for our next family vacation.

Very nice

We enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable accommodations and only a couple miles from Gooseberry Falls SP. The kitchen and dining are were very nice.
