"We recently stayed 2 nights at this wonderful place. It is a unique, relaxing, and beautiful environment. It is also located close to many activities available in the area. We loved spending time in Jonesborough and riding bikes on the Tweetsie Rails to Trails between Johnson City and Elizabethon. It was just the right retreat for us to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. "

"For some one that is in recovery from triple by pass there are no railings for the steps,I had to use my family to get up the stairs. All the guniture was hard to get out of with having a pectoral flip done. The bathroom was difficult with everything being so low to the ground. "My husband is disabled and we don't get to get out much this little cabin was just what we needed we sat outside on the porch early morning watching the dark turn into light the sound of the water trees whistling in the wind the Canadian geese were beautiful cabin was so clean and nicely kept and the host was prompt with everything we needed I definitely found our favorite place thanks for making our 29th anniversary a memorable trip "

"Lovely peaceful setting on the river, quiet country setting. Access to surrounding towns was easy and I appreciated the list of businesses you provided. The views from the balconies were great as well. Managing the stairs with luggage was a bit challenging. Would be nice if owners could build out a bit of a landing zone at door height for luggage to sit on while you open the door. "We needed somewhere to unwind that we could also take our three fur babies. Couldn't have asked for a better escape! The sunrises, the sunsets, The horses right out the window. Just enough modern convenience blended in to an 1880's escape. Our fur babies loved the walks of the gravel driveway every morning and night. The horses would come over to greet us. Cuddling up to a warm fire was just the perfect touch to end each day. We plan to come back!"

"The mountain is so beautiful and removed from the chaos of city life. The drive up the mountain is a bit scary but as long as you follow the notes from Terry, it’s completely manageable for an SUV. I have a Jeep Wrangler and had no issues. It’s perfect for someone who just wants to get away. "
