"Lantern Cottage was exactly as described. It was very clean and comfortable. The layout and facilities had been very well thought out.
The shared courtyard was lovely to sit out in the sun. We were able to store our bikes there too, which we rode on the nearby Camel trail.
It was peaceful even though we were almost in the centre of Padstow. There were numerous bars and restaurants nearby all serving delicious food. There is also a Spar shop 1minute walk away handy for last minute supplies....

"The rooms are quite dated, the majority of the pictures shown are for the first floor rooms while the ground floor rooms are lot more dated and feel like the disparity is quite big. The room itself has two bathrooms and the ensuite had a very foul smell when we first entered and the second bathroom had a damp odour to it. The ensuite smell went away after the first night, but the second bathroom smells got worse over time as the ventilator was not working which we mentioned to the property...

The only minor downside for us was finding the exact holiday home within the park, as the instructions weren't quite clear. Since it was our first time there, it would have been really helpful to have clearer identification or a small map pointing to the exact...

"Clean well presented accommodation, check was easy and well communicated, parking was easy to find with the addition of photos to help. Good location and pet friendly, close to town with a few steep steps but you quickly get used to that. Maybe a parasol would be nice to go with the table and chairs outside, even more so in this current heat wave. "Patio and patio fence are badly unkempt (with overgrown weeds and loose timber). Half the oven didn't work, either. Sykes Cottages were appalling at dealing with the issues when raised - could have been quickly sorted by efficient maintenance. A shame, as it's a great holiday house."

"Really well designed property with spacious downstairs and outside area . Very good to have the small en-suite in main bedroom. Outside area was great , plenty of seating , good sea view , clean and no issue with seagulls ! Very convenient location . Only improvement suggestion would be to provide a hairdryer."

"We had an incredible stay in a beautiful location. Lovely see views from the balcony (perfect for morning yoga). The upside down living made the most of the views. The two rooms, one with a double and one with 2 single bunks were perfect for our family of 4 with 2 pre-teen children. Everything was clean and homely.
