Our apartments are furnished in a shabby chic style, with white as the dominant color, and feature antique tennis rackets placed above the sofa bed or old oars weathered by the sea. Each apartment features a master bedroom with a very comfortable bed and memory foam mattresses, a white wooden slatted sofa bed for two people, a fully furnished and equipped kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave, and a spacious bathroom in shades of ocean blue, featuring a window and a large shower stall. The apartment features a huge, private terrace with views of the olive trees and the sea, as well as a TV, air conditioning and heating, free Wi-Fi, a pool, a barbecue, and a picnic area. We take cleanliness very seriously and offer functional, well-maintained spaces. The quality and condition of the linens provided are excellent.
Hi, I was born in Padua, where I lived until 2013. Now I live in Salento because I’ve started a new business producing high-quality organic extra virgin olive oil. I love animals very much; in fact, on the farm where I live, there are two Arabian horses, two dogs, two white geese, and three cats. I really enjoy living in Salento because the sun is different here—brighter—and the wind blows away bad thoughts, and there’s so much beauty.
Our farmhouse is situated in a strategic location that allows you to quickly reach any destination along both the Adriatic (less than 2 km from the sea) and the Ionian coasts. In Salento, where we’re nestled, you’ll find art, history, culture, nature, the sea, fine cuisine, and warm hospitality. Very close by are the Roman ruins of Valesio, Egnazia, Rudiae, and many others. Here, the Middle Ages take on an Eastern flavor, and ancient nursery rhymes in “Griko” echo through Grecìa Salentina—as in Melpignano, where ancient rhythms transform into contemporary music during the Notte della Taranta. You are on the green peninsula between two seas, a magical land where mysterious dolmens and menhirs mark the way, hidden among olive trees and dry-stone walls in the countryside, where ancient farmhouses now serve as charming accommodations. Whether hiking or biking, set out to discover early Christian churches and underground olive oil mills, and don’t miss the natural spectacle of the sea caves at Castro and Santa Maria di Leuca.A stroll through Lecce is a journey into the Baroque era, amid churches and palaces carved from stone, courtyards, secret gardens, and the surprise of two Roman amphitheaters.
Languages spoken:
English, Italian
