Overall the stay was pleasant with a few minor quirks. The hotel was clean and welcoming, the room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable with clean soft sheets. The bathroom tap (faucet) constantly dripped, I couldn’t hear it with the bathroom door closed. The plug in the bath was covered in mouldy limescale, clearly hasn’t been cleaned although the bath itself was clean. I was woken up at 05:30 by the staff setting up the breakfast area, then couldn’t get back to sleep as one employee couldn’t speak without shouting. Ask for a room away from reception or in the upper floors. Otherwise a decent hotel.

The room needs some repairs. The rack for clothes was only attached to the wall on one side. Bathroom light had one bulb out.

The blackout drapes do not cover the windows, so the room was quite bright from the parking lot lights. This made it very difficult to sleep. The breakfast was really limited. No eggs, no sausage or bacon. Low quality muffins and baked goods were offered. Thank goodness there was oatmeal. I paid $200 for this room and am really regretting my decision to stay there.

Extremely comfortable beds
The location was great, the price was great. The hotel is getting some needed upgrades. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and quiet. We only had an overnight because we were through traveling but I would stay here again.

Mediocre at best.
Although this hotel gets good reviews, I am not sure why. I stayed here based on the reviews and was very disappointed. The room didn't seem very clean. The elevator floor had big stains that were there for three days and never mopped up. The shower has very poor pressure. Our room had a big hole in the wall for a vent or something that was wide open, and then a light was hung over it with parts of the hole still showing. The hot tub was down while we were there. There was only 1 ice machine for the whole hotel. Breakfast was okay.

Only there about 30 mins. Daughter had a bed bug crawl on her. Got up and left immediately. As were told the front desk another person came in and they still checked them in and didn’t say one word to them about the bed bugs.

My family has used this location for many years. So, it's always for first location I check for availability when I come to Topeka. The staff has always been very friendly and accomidating.

Apparently recently renovated, with quiet and comfortable rooms and a very good breakfast. Drive time to downtown or most area attractions is 10 minutes or less, but there's also plenty of dining and shopping in the immediate area. Excellent place to stay, and we will if in Topeka again.

Ask to see room before you stay
They dont clean the shower very good mold all around the shower the carpet is pulled up in places the beds were amazing the hot tub didnt work just not worth what i paid to stay

I specifically booked this hotel for the pool and also what seemed like good overall reviews. Checked in only to find out that the pool has been closed and undergoing renovations for the past two months! No where in their website said this. I felt like they should inform guests prior to checking in or at booking. They expected us to go to another pool, Quality Inns, which is about a five minute drive. No thanks! Also, the room smelled musty and old. So badly need of a renovation or upgrade at least!! Do not book here!! You’ll regret paying for it like we did!
