Comfortable stay

This property was small but comfortable for our stay. Good location and communication with the host was excellent! The property could have been a little cleaner. There were some cups and plates that required washing prior to use, some sheets had marks (probably from the washing line??), and the floor could have done with a mop. Other than that, the property was good!

Hi The TV did not work. The cleanliness was average, as I always am in bare feet, and my soles were black. No air con in the main bedroom, it was hot. The towels were lovely, and the fridge size was greatThe unit needs a full bond clean, screens, windows, bathroom and more. I killed three wasps inside the unit.Robyn

This accommodation was complete with everything we needed. Hosts were very accommodating. Can’t fault a thing. Happy to stay again as close to everything we needed and also not too close to be bomdarded by tourists.

Was close to the beach, had the basic amenities, was quite good for price. Lil wear and tear of an old house like the bedroom door not closing, but nothing to complain about 🙂

Relaxing holiday

It was a good but because people were staying upstairs all you could hear is them moving around and. It was definitely annoying. First night there was no hot water. I assume it was because of the people upstairs used it all. It was quite and relaxing once the people went out for the day. It was clean comfortable and I liked the style. The only thing I could say about the appearance is the outside of the house needs a coat of paint.

Awesome location, great sized house

If you’re looking for a quiet getaway then this is it. The house is tucked down the end of a cul de sac and it’s only a couple mins walk down to the water or the two local cafes. The size of the house was great and we utilised the downstairs apartment also to accommodate a second family.

The photos look better than the actual accommodation it was way over priced for what was on offer

The property was very old like stepping back to 1970 with old lino in the bathroom that had rips in it on the floor and shower was old and uncomfortable, the very small wardrobes had no hanging and there was nowhere to place your suitcases. It felt damp and there was cockroach droppings seen. Kitchen had no bench tops again everything in there was old. Very Disappointed would not recommend to others. Needs some money spent on it.

Great holiday getaway

Friends and I had a lovely stay at this property which was a two bedroom unit underneath the main house. We would have appreciated fans in the second room as there is neither fan nor aircon and it was quite warm when we were there. The air conditioner worked very well when needed however which cooled the place down. Although it sometimes sounds like ‘heard of elephants upstairs’ the property is great and we enjoyed our stay and catching up with family. Great affordable getaway than you

Great beach holiday stay

This apartment is great for a relaxing beach holiday. Beds are comfortable and the unit has everything you need. A little more information in the instruction book (i.e. whereabouts of clothesline, washing machine operation) would be helpful. Host us always accessible.

Extended family stay

Our son and his wife and children stayed in unit while the rest of family was in house, this gave them their own space and they could join in family gatherings as well. The children loved the beach where they swam, flew their kites and collected shells.

Great position, quiet street, lovely apartment

We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas and it was perfect. Downstairs apartment, all the facilities you need, beds were comfy, plenty of glasses and cutlery. 300 metres from salty squid and goodys on the beach. 200 metres from the beach, and bbq facilities- lots of families having lots of fun. People fishing. Perfect spot for a relaxing holiday.
