Justin was great to communicate with - quick to respond and very helpful.House is very comfortable, especially for an extended stay with a large family.Game room is a great addition but our favorite was the fire pit to gather around in the evenings.Overall, a great experience.

This was the most disappointing rental experience I’ve ever had. I booked the home as a surprise birthday trip for my wife—something carefully planned to celebrate and unwind. While the house was spacious and has potential, it was shockingly unkempt and misrepresented.From the moment we arrived, the condition was unacceptable: filthy baseboards, heavily stained carpets, uncomfortable & dirty furniture, broken blinds, grimy walls, and a strong musty odor. The bathrooms were worse—mildew, soap scum, slow drainage, and hair stuck to the walls.I messaged the host the first night due to the severe uncleanliness. He sent a “cleaner” who arrived with air freshener, 2 plug-ins, paper towels, and 1 spray bottle—cleaned 1 shower briefly, then left and never returned. Out of frustration, I bought my own supplies and spent hours on my hands and knees scrubbing floors, steps, walls, & toilets.The next day, a handyman showed up 3 hours late to fix a broken glass shower door—without the needed parts. His solution: don’t use it. This was day 2 of disrupted plans due to their timing, yet nothing resolved.The lawn was overgrown until checkout day. Backyard games in the listing didn’t exist. Check-in was chaotic and took over an hour. The registration process felt excessively strict.While the host was responsive, he showed no real empathy. This was supposed to be a relaxing get away—it was EXHAUSTING! This home is neglected & desperately needs cleaning, updates, & proper maintenance.

A Bit Misleading

In many ways, the house is lovely - the kitchen and common areas are well maintained, the deck and hot tub are quite usable, and the management company was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. However, a couple things made our stay less than ideal. First, the listing mentions "connected guest rooms". In reality, one of the "bedrooms" is only accessible through another one, and only the far room has a mini-split unit, so if you were to try to split the rooms, one person would be walking through the other's room, and the other wouldn't have heating or air conditioning.Second, the HOA neighborhood this house is in is both badly maintained and incredibly onerous. We waited a half hour in line to get a piece of paper pass to enter the community. The only way to use this pass is to pull up to a camera and wave it around until someone notices you waiting - this meant that at heavy traffic times, there were half a dozen or more cars waiting to be let in. There is not a single sidewalk throughout the community - the pool, lake beach, dog run, etc are all inaccessible and while the official speed limit is 25mph (and management stresses how strict that is), we were frequently buzzed by cars going 40 trying to walk anywhere. In short, while I applaud the management company for doing their best with this one, I would only recommend this is a launching pad for other places you might want to go in the Poconos.

Good location

Overall location of the property was great with access to a community center. There were some minor issue such as no shampoo/conditioner and several furniture’s were old/broken (backyard door handle, window blinds, etc). Rooms and property were clean.

Great option for large family instead of staying at water parks

This place is great! The hot tub, it has a real working fireplace, deer all over the property while you’re hanging out by the fire pit, only 15 minutes from the water parks, and plenty of space for the whole family. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in the Tobyhanna/pocono area.

Poconos getaway

Easy and reliable communication with hosts. Everything was as stated. Beds were comfortable. Only issues we had was one if the tv's didn't work and we had to clean off porch and furniture for all the leaves so we weren't tracking into hoise.
