"This is a darling cottage! Decor is subtle and attractive, the property is well maintained. The host was responsive when I called with an issue with the TV (remote needed new batteries). "Beautiful, well equipped condo right along the coast in Hwy 1. Close to restaurants and a short drive to some amazing site seeing opportunities along the pacific. We stayed here specifically to be close to Thor’s Well, Spouting Horn, and Devil’s punch bowl. The weather was rainy and chilly so didn’t do much beach walking but it was literally right out the door. The condo was well equipped. We had a coffee maker and fridge which was all we really needed. Laundry was onsite but not in the condo...

"I had two opportunities to stay at Ocean Cove Inn. What I didn't realize is that there are two sets of rooms - one set upper and one set closer to 101. In my experience the upper set had a more comfortable bed and a little less highway noise. In both cases, though, the rooms were very clean and parking was great.It seems like a wonderful option to stay in Yachats."

"This was a great house in a wonderful location right on the beach, actually on the sand dunes overlooking the beach. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable and I loved having a working fireplace. Decent, sharp knives and non Teflon in pans in the kitchen was a real plus. The only drawback was that the refrigerator smelled of fish, even with a box of baking soda and still had a fishy smell 4 days later."
