Home away from home

Room for everyone! Our adult kids came with and the bedroom areas were so nice for everyone to have their own space. House is set up very practical which made things so easy to find. Felt like we had lived there for years. Great view nice walk to the beach and the lighting throughout the house was fantastic. So many little details will defintley stay again!

4th of July Holiday Visit

House is lovely but visitors also need to love going up and down stairs. Lots of steps!! Also, during the summer, visitors need to love getting up with the sun because the bedroom window coverings are not room darkening. We were all wide awake by 5:15 am. Weather was beautiful and we enjoyed the decks.

Relaxing Oceanview

The home has a lovely location and view. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood with a quick walk to a stunning beach. The house is well-equipped, we were able to bring in some groceries and enjoy our home cooked meals. It’s perfect for a family or even a group of friends!

Great Place

Great location - quick walk to the beach. Lovely common area with couches and big views on the first floor. Lovely front deck with views. Also nice patio in the back that is usually protected from the wind. Important for us, big tables inside and outside with enough dishes/servingware for the size of the house. Great wifi, which is important given poor cell service in Oceanside.

Have had better experiences with VRBO.

Check-in was very frustrating. The code sent to us did not work. Because there was no cell service in that area, we had a difficult time finally getting in touch with someone who could help us. Location was perfect, not sure I would ever look through Vacasa again.

The house was the right amount of space for our family. It is a quiet town with a short walk to the beach. Stop at the Safeway in Tilamook before you go to the house. Very limited grocery and dining options.

Oregon Coast Trip

This property is central to many other coastal cities and sights. It is a short walk to the beach and the beach was not very crowded when we were there. We were able to see wonderful tide pools and enjoyed walking through the tunnel. The house has many stairs, so be prepared. The living room has a a lot of seating. The beds were very comfortable and stocked with extra blankets. The view of the ocean was wonderful when looking above the railing. The only downside was when you were sitting on the deck the view of the ocean was a little distorted because of the safety railing. If the railing was clear or a larger design in the railing it would make it better. Other than that we loved the house and would highly recommend staying there.

Sea Lions and tide pools

Amazing home and location. Enjoyed the beach and views. Amazing wildlife. We would stay again!! Hosted by Vacasa and all the communication is from them and not vrbo. Emails ended up in junk so I was a little lost initially. It would be good to indicate that in the listing.

Great Family House!

Beautiful and comfortable home super close to the beach. Plenty of room for the family, great view from the deck. Oceanside is a lovely little town. Very quiet in March, when we visited. Would definitely love to stay again. Only wish: access code panel so you can pull straight into garage. The current arrangement requires guest to park the car, go upstairs to enter house, then go downstairs to open the garage, then back to car to pull it in to garage, then upstairs to enter the house. Leaving the garage is the same in reverse. Great for exercise, but inconvenient for parking. Overall, great house in a great community. Strongly Recommended!

Amazing Winter Getaway

Our family loved the whole experience. yes, it was stormy outside, but we still got to the beach and had it all to ourselves. Loved reading books, playing games, using the super well-equipped kitchen, and taking in the views. For our family of 7 it was a great winter getaway!

Great location, but...

Just returned from a one week stay at this property. While we made the best of it, I was very disappointed in the condition of this home. Pros: This home has amazing ocean views and is walking distance to the beach. The community that it is located in is very quiet. If social distancing is important to you, this home is in a great area. In addition, the TV's and wifi worked well. Cons: We arrived late in the day and the first thing I wanted to do was figure out sleeping arrangements for our children. I pulled out the trundle bed in the bunkbed room and discovered that the floors underneath the bed were filthy. There were candy wrappers, tons of sand/dirt, cobwebs and cheerios. I spent 20 minutes cleaning the floors in this room and in the other bedrooms downstairs. I swept a huge pile of dirt and uneaten food. I also cleared out several cobwebs from the corners of each room underneath the beds. While I understand that a house near the beach will have sand in it, I think that the floors should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. In addition to the sand, it seems that the floors have not been mopped in quite some time. The bottoms of our feet were black by the time we went to bed. I was concerned by how little cleaning may have been done prior to our stay, especially in this COVID era. Next, we had to take care of the spiders and bugs. I'm from the Pacific Northwest so I'm used to seeing spiders in the house, but not to this extent. We killed 13 spiders and two other bugs in the first 24 hours of being in the home. Then, throughout the week, we killed several more, mostly in the downstairs bedrooms and bathrooms. I could stand in the shower and count spiders on the ceilings and walls around me. The home was very worn and in need of some major TLC. The walls were filthy and you could see handprints on the walls leading up the stairs. The baseboard trim was scratched and dinged up. Several of the windows were difficult to open and close. The mattresses were incredibly uncomfortable. The carpet upstairs in the loft was dingy. The main bathroom looks great in photos, but in reality, the tile is cracked and worn and the water doesn't drain very well. Walking around on concrete floors all week wasn't particularly comfortable either. A few rugs would have been a nice addition. If we return to Oceanside in the future, we will be choosing another place to stay.

Pretty Oceanside Home

Great location and a very nicely appointed house. Beautiful views and a short walk to the beach. The only small thing is that it wasn’t as clean as we’d expect. The major surfaces and rooms were fine but there was dust, cobwebs and spiders (dead and alive) hanging around like the home hadn’t been occupied or deep cleaned in a while. Would not change our desire to come back though! We’ll definitely make this a regular house to visit the coast.

Loved the view & the comfort for our whole family.

This is a most excellent view location in Oceanside. Close to the beach. The slates on 2 of the queen beds and the bunk beds seemed a little loose. The bunk beds seemed a tiny bit unstable. The listing for the home is fairly comprehensive, but they do have hair dryers in each bathroom as well as cookie sheets and lots of baking pans in the kitchen. Overall a most comfortable & wonderful place.

Great view

We had a great time here. The place was clean and well equipped. Our son loved staying in the loft. Also having the garage to load and unload while it was raining was very helpful. I do agree that the water on the deck needs to be addressed, this will damage the siding on your building. We brushed it off repeatedly but rain quickly filled it back up. Also, we encountered a strong musty smell in the lower bathroom. It looks like the tile might need to be replaced in the near future. These however were small things that did not detract from the great time we had there. The location and view cannot be beat.
