Host interactions - after having paid in full for this in October 2025 we were notified in January 2026 that our rental may be canceled if we did not pay a fee that was not promoted back in October. While this is taxes and we were told that it was a VRBO issue between them and the owner of the facility, we were the ones that ultimately had to pay it. I don’t feel that for the amount of money we paid in full at the time of booking that we should have had to incur a cost not promoted to us at the time of booking. If that is an issue between owner and VRBO then that’s where it should have been dealt with. Not with the customer. The coffee pot needs replaced. Took almost 1 hour to brew a pot of coffee and the amount of coffee brewed was roughly 1/2 of the amount of water put into the machine. A unit that sleeps 12 people should have something more efficient.Communication with the property manager via VRBO app and text was fine. Ultimately decisions should rely with the property manager, then instead of having to ask back to the owner on financial items.
