"We really enjoyed our stay at the Chalet. The home is very comfortable and it was close to family that lives nearby. While the reason for our stay was very sad, our niece's celebration of life service, it helped to have a peaceful, quiet and relaxing place to retreat to. We will definitely look into staying here again. "

"Nice sized house for a big family (we had 2 adults, 5 teens and a toddler and fit well). The house had older amenities (bathroom, kitchen, furniture, carpet, grill) but that was fine with us (and in some was preferred so we didn’t have to worry about being overly tidy). It was surely whimsical and layout was unique. The price seemed steep but then again we had a hard time finding anything big enough for us near torch lake, so maybe price was correctly aligned to the market). The backyard is...

"House was perfect for our group of friends looking to enjoy one of the last weekends of summer near Torch Lake. House had all basic amenities and plenty of space. Wish we had time to try out the sauna!"

"Came to get away from the daily grind looking for peace and relaxation. It delivered! The seclusion, wildlife, fire on the river was exactly what we all needed. The house was cleaned very well and the AC was great during the hot weather. "

"We loved this cabin! It was very clean and comfortable and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed and we also enjoyed using the charcoal grill. The beds were very comfortable and so was the living room. Our boys loved playing in the creek. "

"The property was in a nice location for us to explore the quaint towns and Sleeping Bear Dunes. The central living area was very comfortable. The inside stairs, tho clever, are not for the faint of heart."

"Fantastic stay and getaway. The house was clean, cozy and had 5 large beds along with 3 bunk beds. The Blackstone grill was SO NICE to use with a view of the forest. "

"Fantastic location for a summer golf trip. Amazing house and amenities. The sleeping situation with the bunk beds was awesome. Pool/hot tub/sauna right next to the house. Quick drive into town. Stay here!"

"Beautiful home, beds/furniture were very cozy, kitchen was decently stocked with basic cooking needs. Also really enjoyed the layout of the home. The walk to the beach was across a busy road, so water access isn’t necessarily right off the property but still easy to get to. I’d say overall a great place to rent - great location!"
