"Lake nice. Rooms like any Ibis but too expensive. Small swimming pool we didn't use it. And paying extra for amenities and Internet it's just a terrible idea. Why don't they just ad 15 pounds to the price of the room and don't act like a low cost airline. The resort is not low cost. Brilliant lake view from the Lodge. Ugly restaurant and bar. The machines doesn't work they keep your money and lady in reception couldn't help. It's not a 4 stars hotel! ITS NOT LAKE...

"Excellent and charming renovated period buildinh with very responsive communication before and during stay. 15min walk from train station and business terminus and 10min into town center. Beautiful and serene garden and patio. Quality of the rooms and amenities are high/new. ‘Kozy’ rooms are best for short stays as they are truly cozy, especially sinks in the bathroom. For long stays, chose a regular/double."

"Nice caravan, situated close to all amenities, if you have stayed in a Haven Park before this caravan would be classed as a Bronze accommodation, to give you the comparison if you were to book your stay with Haven direct. Weather was great, park very busy with the weekend campers (tents) this area was packed, kids play park was a free for all, I would say too small for the amount of families staying onsite, wonder what the middle of summer holidays would be like when all caravans and camping...

"There were positives and negatives to this stay. Wasnt expecting the Ritz as the price was very good but we arrived to find a fair amount of sand on the floors - they clearly had not cleaned floors prior to our arrival. It’s very basic which was ok but would have been a little better if there was a lamp in the bedroom and proper curtains to shut out the morning light. "The property was lovely with well furnished. Sadly the hot water in the shower wasn’t working despite reporting it after the first day. Cold showers aren’t very nice. When paying top price for accommodation the hot water should a given, essential part of the service. Plus the cleaners were knocking on the door before the allotted 10am check out!!"

Super for Families - Everything You Need
"I stayed here with my partner and 2 young children. We booked a room with two double beds - this was perfect. What really impressed me about the hotel was the extra details everywhere to make it really welcoming and easy for families. Toys, games, high chairs, ramps and accesible options - and even some secret doors for elves & fairies hidden around the place. The hotel has a super heated, indoor swimming pool, and a playground outside. I also really appreciated the box of "help yourself" to extra tea, coffee and milk at the reception. These details make all the difference and I want to say a big thank you to the team at Holiday Inn, Lancaster - you are great!!"
