Was it excellent Paul the owner was available whenever needed (which was rare). Nice to know he was there if needed. It served as a great home base to explore the area. We also hade a few bbq’s and chilled by the pool.

Great villa, with a nice big pool, super clean and everything you need supplied, including cold beers & wine on arrival, very welcome after 3 days driving. Villa is in a nice quiet area with great views over Cumbre del sol and other hills.

Absolutely amazing villa

Fantastic family holiday. Great location central to everything we did as a family. Wonderful beach, marina and restaurants at Moraira and in a short drive or walking distance. Villa was very spacious and had everything we needed. Paul and Deb’s speed of response to anything we needed or asked was superb. Definitely be back.

The perfect home from home, for two small families

Casa Marron is a beautiful home, which has clearly been very lovingly put together. As soon as you arrive, you feel comfortable, as the property is tastefully and fully furnished, unlike some stark holiday lets. The fact that there are two en suites, made it perfect for two families, such as ourselves. The pool area is magnificent, and is extremely large and deep, for a private property. With four teenagers in tow, this was the perfect entertainment for them. The grounds are spacious so, although there are other properties around, it feels very secluded and private. There is a small but well stocked supermarket, a ten minute walk away, meaning there was no need to drive, if you didn't want to. The hosts were perfect, the right balance between being "on hand" but not intrusive, checking that we had arrived safely and offering to answer any questions about the property itself, or the surrounding area. If I had to find something negative, we found the beds a little soft, but that is obviously a personal preference. Aside from this, there is nothing we would have changed at all. Having had our trip delayed due to Covid for two years, we were just happy to be able to get away, but having this lovely home to stay in, just made it a wonderful holiday, and well worth the wait.

Layout of the villa was exactly what we required, the villa in general was excellent with pool area perfect. The bathroom especially the shower area needs updating. The pool side furniture was in a poor state, communication with Paul/ Debs was great. Would stay again if these issues were fixed.

Excellent holiday property

This is one of the best VRBO properties we have stayed in. The accommodation is roomy with plenty of space for the 5 of us that stayed, although it would have easily accommodated more. The real selling point of this villa is the outside area, the pictures don't really do it justice as the pool area is lovely along with several other areas to sit and play in, including a spacious covered patio. The home is exceptionally well appointed and within walking distance of a few restaurants and a supermarket although the walk is very hilly so could be a little challenging to anyone with mobility issues. The owners couldn't have been more helpful and every query was answered promptly. The local beach is lovely with a great beach bar although it is a little too far to walk to and there is plenty to do a little further afield including several markets, the Fonts d'Algar waterfalls and of course the lovely town of Moraira. This is one property that we will be returning to.

Fantastic villa

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful villa. Deb and Paul were perfect hosts, so caring and helpful in every way. Spacious villa and so well equipped, felt very much like a home rather than a rental property, perfect for our 2 month stay. Comfy beds and great bathrooms. Wifi very fast and endless TV channels should you want them. Lots of lovely seating areas in the garden, great outdoor BBQ and a covered area for al fresco dining and chilling out in the evening. Wonderful pool with good sized seating areas where you can relax all day in the sun. Villa close to Moriara which is very pretty with lots of lovely bars and restaurants and a weekly market. There is also a small supermarket just a stroll away from the villa . We couldn't recommend this villa highly enough.

Superb, well equipped and spacious villa with larger than expected pool and surrounding areas.

The owners were accommodating and understanding with the uncertainty surrounding our trip, and were very helpful in answering all of our questions. Luckily, we were able to travel, and we are so glad we did. The villa is beyond perfect and the pictures really do not do the property justice. It is beautifully furnished, with high quality bed linen and towels, and you want for nothing - each room had a hair dryer and AC unit, and the kitchen was better equipped than some homes! There were plenty of beach towels too, so no need to take your own. The villa was much bigger than we expected, and as a party of 6 adults and an 11 & 13 year old, we never felt on top of each other. The outside areas are vast and truly superb - a gorgeous dining and seating area in the covered naya with views of the stunning gardens. The pool was by far the best aspect of the villa for us, and much bigger than it looks in the pictures. 8 of us could comfortably swim or play in the pool at the same time without getting in each other’s way, it really is amazing. The area surrounding the pool is large so we could all relax and sunbathe together, with 6 sun loungers, a seating area, and umbrellas for those who want shade, with the added bonus of a private toilet and shower too. With electricity at the pool we were also able to have our music play in the background. It really was a lovely home from home that would be great for all year round travel. A 10 minute walk to local shops, bars and restaurants, and if you don't have a car a 10€ trip by taxi (very easy) down to Moraira, with its lovely beach and good selection of shops, bars and restaurants, The Friday market is worth a visit, and with a car there are great opportunities to explore the surrounding areas, such as Javea, Denia and Algar falls. The only downside of the holiday.... we had to leave! Thank you again, it is really somewhere we would return to when visiting Spain in the future.

Great Villa and holiday in Moraira

Villa Casa Marron lived up to our expectations and much more. The Villa has light airy generous sized rooms and a modern well equipped kitchen. Opening doors and windows kept the villa cool and as a welcome break from the heat of the sun. We enjoyed day trips out to local beaches and villages like El Castell de Guadalest but returning mid afternoon to enjoy time around the beautiful villa pool and later with drinks. We had great evenings eating on the covered veranda and later playing card games. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday at this beautiful peaceful villa and we were all sad to be going home.

Wonderful well equipped private villa with a fabulous pool, brilliant holiday

We have had a brilliant 2 weeks at this villa. We are a family of 6, with four children. The villa is very well equipped for families and lovely and spacious. The large pool was a huge hit with all of us and is safely located up steps from the patio area, perfect for young children. The pool area gets sun all day and there are lovely loungers and seating with plenty of parasols for shade. We took loads of pool toys and inflatables with us which the kids just loved in the pool, and the pool is plenty big enough for four noisy children, and there’s nobody overlooking the pool that they can annoy, just perfect. We loved the covered seating/eating area outside the villa and spent our evenings there or sitting up beside the pool. The bedrooms are all air conditioned and spacious. Bathrooms lovely and fresh feeling. We loved that the villa and grounds are gated so it felt very safe, but the whole area also felt very safe also and more than once we walked to the lovely restaurant at the top of the hill for dinner (la posada) and also walked into Moraira one evening. There’s a supermarket at the top of the hill which was handy but also plenty of bigger supermarkets close by. We explored the whole area and even had a day trip to Valencia which I highly recommend as it’s a beautiful city. Our favourite place was Altea with its old town and evening market, very lovely. We liked the local beaches, particularly the smaller ones, such as small rocky beaches for snorkelling and el Portet beach, also the drive to la Granadella beach is very well worth it. We also visited Aqualandia water park near Benidorm which was a brilliant day with a lots of great slides. Guadalest is worth the drive, and we also swam in font d’algar waterfalls on the way home from guadalest, it’s a lot of fun. We ate in some fabulous restaurants and had Spanish food the whole holiday in some really great places all over the area. Highly recommend a stay here to explore the lovely area.
