wonderful stay
easy to get onto the slopes and off. clean. no allergens which is a super plus for kids with lots of allergies. loved the tea, wine, beer, water, kind bars and starbursts!

Awesome location — True ski in/ski out!
Perfect set-up and location for our father/son ski trip. Practically right next door to the market and gondola, and true ski in/ski out directly onto a double green run. Condo is super nice and spotless, and fully equipped (including snacks and beverages!). There is a working gas fireplace and the beds are super comfortable. Also free shuttle service to Mountain Village and a very nice on-site restaurant. Great first time experience in Telluride! Would highly recommend!

We had a great time staying here during our trip to Telluride! The space had everything we needed and the kitchen was well stocked. It was the perfect ski in/ski out location. All the information provided by Luke was very detailed and answered all of our questions, making for a seamless experience.

Skyline retreat is perfect for family.
We’re a family of four, and this property was the perfect size. Communicating with the property managers was easy, and they responded quickly. The lockers at the base of the double cabin run were highly convenient. The condo is fully stocked with snacks, a first happy hour, nonalcoholic drinks, and toiletries, as mentioned in the description. We loved that the condo is on the first floor. Also, the Mountain Lodge Shuttle was a plus because it got us to and from Mountain Village or the Gondola with ease. The only complaint I have is for the View restaurant because the service was slow on both occasions we visited during breakfast and lunch. The Chef came out to apologize and tell us they were understaffed but kind enough to help with our order. It took a while for us to get our food. I would highly recommend staying at the Skyline retreat if you are looking for a small family ski vacation.

High Line Retreat
My husband and I and our two teenaged boys had a lovely stay at the High Line Retreat. Clean, quiet, comfy, and with a fully equipped kitchen, the place was a perfect place to unwind after a day of skiing. We hope to return!

Can't wait to do it again
Our stay was great. The location was perfect, interior amenities matched our family's needs and it was quiet. We are bed snobs and we didn't loose a wink of sleep (thank you!). We look foward to booking again, hopefully when the season is back in the swing of things.

Beauty of Telluride
The property was wonderful however our unit had no view whotsoever. If I came back I would book through the property itself so they could help me get a condo with a view. Also the entire village was replacing the roofs. Outside our little patio is where all the construction garbage gathered. Sad that no one informed us that lots of construction was happening

Sorry for the inconvenience caused by the emergency roof replacement. Owners did not have a choice due to forest fire risk and insurance. Luckily that is wrapping up. The private patio you have is a unique feature as you can come and go from the outside. It is advertised as a ground level unit which many people appreciate. You can book directly through the lodge next time but you will pay 40% more per night. We do have several units with great views so check us out at Wild Oak Telluride next time for those!

Family vacation
This property was very clean and welcoming. Check in and parking are a little stressful with valet. Don’t forget anything in your car! Otherwise the location is wonderful. Very walkable to mountain village or up to the village market gondola. The gondolas are fantastic for getting around without your vehicle. The decor was great and the noise in the bedroom was not bad at all. Even with roofing going on in the complex it was a very relaxing family vacation.

The property was nice and clean and fit 2 people well. I thought the communication could have been better about how to get around although the front desk and neighbors were helpful. Not walkable to most places although shuttle seemed there anytime we needed it. We did NOT appreciate the upsell in fees and owner charges which initially were not shown in the Expedia pricing. We saw 6oo/night in expedia and by the time you check out and see the management fees you are at 1000/night!

Great stay!
Host is very responsive! Beds were very comfortable, kitchen well equipped, located in walking distance to MT Village or Market Plaza Gondola. Shuttle is available too. You can even ski to The View (hotel bar) outside where they serve tacos, empanadas & beer/ wine by a fire. Look for the red Adirondack chairs! We didn't have an issue with noise in the second bedroom. We used the ski locker on property, down the hall & rented skis on the property (upstairs in the main lodge). There were only 3 of us. In the primary bedroom we didn't have a lot of room for luggage, so we used the living room. The closet floor was taken up with stored items. If we had someone sleeping on the pullout couch, it would have been an issue. We didn't, so it wasn't. No real view, but you will want to spend your time outdoors on the slopes. We had great weather all week. Super friendly host and people on premises.

Awesome home base for skiing
This condo was in a great location with easy access to the ski slopes. Luke was a great host with easy communication and solutions when our flight out was cancelled. Overall, we enjoyed our time to the fullest and would definitely stay again.

Fantastic Stay!!
This was such a wonderful location! It was a quick walk to the main lodge, a very short walk to ski right out onto the mountain, and the condo was beautiful, clean, and had lots of extra touches. The owner was great with communication and the lodge staff was fantastic! We will definitely stay here again!

Great Condo
This was a great condo for 4 people to stay. Great location ski in/ski out. The restaurant at Mountain Lodge was great. Close to the market and Gondola station. There is a bit of a slope when walking up and down from the condo to the lodge, so might not be great if you have issues with slopes. The bedroom closest to the exit was loud with other guests walking in and out , but we expected that after seeing it in another review. Just the nature of the location, it's never quiet when people are walking around in ski boots. We really enjoyed our stay, and would definitely book again!

hotel OK. Location of the unit NOT GREAT
The unit was very dark, lacking light, even natural light, and the unit was located right next to the EXIT door of the building and I could hear the guests come in and out at all hours of the day and night. On most days of my stay I got woken up at 2am and 4 and 5 am.

Hello Patricia, This is a very unusual review for this condo. We have excellent reviews and people love the corner location as you do not have any shared walls to the south and more windows than a normal unit here allowing for lots of natural light. I have yet to hear of any noise reported by other guests from any of the buildings entrances given this condo's isolation from them. Apologies you experienced these sounds while on property!

We stayed in the Double cabin. It was beautiful, spacious, clean, and the beds were comfortable. Luke, our host, left us a lovely welcoming sign and a variety of snacks and beverages. The rooms do not have air conditioning and did get hot; Opening the windows helped cool them. The check in process was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and professional. They notified us at check in the jetted tub was not working, helped with our luggage, and made restaurant recommendations. The lodge transportation service is quick. We never waited more than a few minutes. The location is perfect. Its 5- 10 minute walk to the market and the gondola. The scenery beautiful and relaxing. I loved our stay and will retun again.

Great Telluride Getaway
We very much enjoyed our time at Telluride Mountain Lodge. The property’s location is great — easy access to Mountain Village and gondola to town. Being close to the market was also a big plus for us. The unit was clean and spacious. Additionally, the pool was wonderful, and the views can’t be beat! One challenge we had was with the hotel itself (not Luke and his team). As this is a privately managed unit, the hotel team was unwilling to help us with a minor request, though Luke followed up and helped us out. Additionally, it should be noted that the second bedroom shares a wall with the side entrance to the building, so slamming doors can be heard often.

Needs maintenance and TLC
Note that we’ve previously stayed in multiple other units on this property. This one needs some maintenance and TLC. Also, I didn’t notice until too late that all the check out requirements were totally different from any of the others. Location is still great and amenities are nice. It’s getting exceptionally expensive to come here because of the dramatic increases in lodging in the past 4 years.

Do keep in mind that as a self managed unit, we stock this condo with updated kitchen equipment, snacks, beers, waters and nicer decorative itmes. While prices are getting high in Telluride, this unit is still priced below the rack rates for the Mountain Lodge even with all the extras that we provide our guests.

While others often never cook on their out of town stays, we tend to plan some nice meals and do a decent amount of cooking. Given that I ALWAYS appreciate a well stocked kitchen! This one fit the bill! Even though the kitchen was cozy it had everything we could ask for. The host had great communication, the place was comfortable and convenient to the gondola. The resort staff was helpful and the pool and hot tub were great. My only complaint is that there was a glitch in the system and I got errors during the booking process. At first I didn't think we got the place but then received an email later through another system saying we did. VRBO never showed my stay in my trips area and I contacted support and they said it would show up in 24 hours. It never did and made me a bit skeptical that it was real. The host put me at ease and it all worked out. Not the hosts fault at all. This was a VRBO issue. We had a great time!

Perfect for us!
Our stay in this condo was exactly what we were looking for! We wanted a convenient location for our first week-long ski trip to Telluride and this condo at Mountain Lodge gave us easy access to everything. We skied all day and enjoyed the flexibility of returning to the condo for meals as needed. We loved the easy access to the slopes, pool, hot tub and sauna--literally just yards from the condo! While we did not eat at "The View", we found all staff very pleasant and helpful. And of course, we appreciated all of the great communication with Luke before and during our stay. Special thanks for Luke's quick attention to providing an air mattress on the first night and a great supply of snacks and staples to get the trip started! We would love to return for a future spring break trip!

All You Need for A Ski Getaway
A sweet mountain property perfect for a ski trip. Conveniently located to skiing, restaurants, and shops. Excellent shuttle service. No need for a car. The unit is well equipped. The host has a wonderful program for making the most of your stay in Telluride. I would rent again.

Great Location!
