Great value
The house is very interesting with a unique flow (entry is on the third floor). Theater seating is a bonus! The driveway is tricky in the winter with a hairpin turn in the middle. The beds aren’t exactly as advertised, as one is a “kiddie” mattress in a loft (up a ladder). Really sleeps two couples (which we were not). Overall though, we liked the place!

Great place- treacherous driveway
House was as advertised. Plenty of space. Hot tub was great. Took off a star because of the driveway. Steep and icy. Had trouble getting our truck out of there.

Weekend Ski Trip
Big space- odd rooms and floor plan - worked for us. One toilet was busted, that was inconvenient. One of the beds is a pull out (no sheets) located in a loft area with a challenging/dangerous staircase for anyone not able bodied. Host communcation and responsiveness was poor/slow. Host failed to inform us there were no dumpsters and spent 30 minutes looking for a place to dispose of our garbage. Could not get some of the outside doors to lock. Great view. Nice hot tub.

Short Guys Ski Trip
The house was a good price for the Telluride area. Interesting design and lots of stairs. The hot tub was nice. The only issue I had was the lack of bedding for spare beds, like the sofa bed and the street sign was hard to spot at night. It was a fine property for our needs as a place to sleep and relax after skiing.

Great Weekend
Great location and easy access to the mountain. Driveway is a bit tricky but otherwise we had a wonderful stay. My kids enjoyed the hot tub and heated floors :) Thanks very much!

Christmas Vacation
A perfect fit for our family of 6! We stayed 5 nights to ski 4 days. Everybody slept comfortably, the kitchen was easy to cook in with updated appliances, dining table sat all 6 easily where we talked after dinner for an extended period, basement movie room had us watching bowl games, and hot tub helped work out all the kinks from the slopes. We hope to stay here again. Cody, thank you for offering affordable luxury in Telluride!

Perfect stay in every way!
The house is beautiful, with amazing views and amenities. Quiet and serene, yet incredibly conveniently located. Very clean from top to bottom. And each room is equipped with everything you need to make your vacation as enjoyable as possible. We loved everything about it. Overall, a perfect stay. We cant wait to come back!

Blues & Brews Festival
Great location and views. My only critique is interior lighting and electronics. Several track lighting fixtures not working as well as not enough lumens in the kitchen and TV room. It would be nice to have blue-tooth connectivity with a speaker system (sound bar with remote speakers) so we could connect with our devices.

NO AC. NO KITCHEN TOWELS. The patio's and decks were filthy, weeds everywhere on the main patio. Hot tub is almost inaccessible with all the plants / weeds in the way. The outside chairs provided were cheap and flimsy. NO AC. NO KITCHEN TOWELS. No place to put your trash bags outside.

Great house
This house is great! It is located in a peaceful private location. The house is multi level and nicely layed out. The views were incredible from the porch and inside as well. It was well stocked with everything you need. It is just a short drive to the gondolas. We would happily stay here again! We had a great visit.

We enjoyed this spacious home in an aspen grove with unique floor plan and stairwells well suited to our family. A lovely view of Mt. Wilson and close car access to Mtn. village and gondola to the town of Telluride. Comfortable bedding!

Incredible views
We loved our stay here this past weekend! The views are beautiful. It was very relaxing to drink coffee by the firepit and watch the sunrise. There is also plenty of room so everyone had their own space. We went to the jazz fest night shows in town and the commute was easy. It was less than 10 min to drive to the mountain village gondola, which took us right down to town. Great location, great views, great house!

Adventures in Telluride
This unique property made Telluride so much more enjoyable. With the lofts that my children loved to the hot tub that we sat in at night watching the stars. There was a small herd of deer that joined us for breakfast in the mornings. It is a very secluded home and you can not see anyone from the property. Overall, a wonderful place to stay. With any older property, upgrades would take this place to the next level.

Unbelievable
A day before check-in day for this property at the end of Feb 2023 I received a VM indicating this property might not be available and other plans should be made due to the recent snowfall (blizzard). I immediately returned the call to learn everything in, out or otherwise was closed. From that point forward we were in consistent contact and amazingly the roads leading leading up to the driveway and driveway were cleared! The pictures, description, reviews and whatnot did not prepare us. This property is uniquely odd starting with the entryway all the way down to the hot tub. Odd I'm sure for anyone not familiar with a house built on the side of a mountain, which I'm not. Unique with all the charm and character with the details, space, layout and sense of home. The views from the driveway, decks and hot tub are unbelievable just about any time of day or night. Everything about this trip was unbelievable and this property and all associated interactions made this trip truly unforgettable. Thank You

Wow! Great place!
Wow! Great place! We have stayed in Telluride many times, skiing, festivals, etc. From high-end, on slope hotels to “in-town” VRBOs, this large home is the very best! Cody, your host,is very receptive and always available to answer your questions. Three of our party were skiers and found the location to be excellent for hitting the slopes…and great for the other important part of skiing, relaxing afterwards. A large living room and a huge media room/ bar. The other of our group stayed to “stir the soup” and loved the amazing views, especially Mt. Wilson, as well as the peacefulness. This VRBO is well equipped with everything you need in kitchen and in bathrooms with nice linens in the bedrooms that have very comfy king beds. Kitchen has a SubZero fridge and a great 6 burner gas range. Cold water is ice cold in the Rockies and Telluride is known for theirs, but the hot water is quickly hot, too. The floor plan is interesting and has three levels so everyone feels they have their own space. Three lofts provide fun sleeping areas if you are bringing kids. Wanting to come back in summer as the yard area around the house looks inviting with a grill and a hot tub that we just never got to as we had so much other stuff to do. Big TV in media room and stocked with a large cabinet filled with every game you can imagine. Oh, good Wifi reception, too! You can tell that we were all happy staying here. You will be, too!

Great value
We had a group out to ski - only about a 7 minute drive from the house to the parking garage in Mountain Village. House has spectacular views, and was the perfect space for our group. Only run-in we had was a lack of extra supplies (paper towels, trash bags, towels, wash cloths, etc.) as well as the trash bin out front being full. Hot tub was great, just an icy walk from the back door to the tub. The many stairs in the house are certainly not for the faint of heart, and should be considered if any future groups have elderly and/or disabled guests. Overall a perfect space for us this weekend.

Not clean, get what you pay for
Overall, this place is priced fairly low likely because it’s not very nice. The entire house was just dirty in general… There were hairs on the floor and in the beds when we arrived, there was dust and dirt on the floor, the hot tub water was smelly and green with floating dirt and hair, and there was trash spread across the driveway when we arrived. It was also clear that no care was taken to the driveway before arrival, because there was a huge mound of snow that my dad had to shovel out so that we could enter the driveway. The host responded to one question and then stopped responding. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. That said, the pros include that it is a large space, the views are nice, and there are certainly potential assuming it is better managed and cleaned up.

Dirty, falling apart, smells, decon & mouse alerts everywhere
The oven had caked on food, dust was thick, made us sick, since we have allergies, decon under bath sinks. Doors were unlocked in basement and were missing locks. We had to put stools on door tracks to be safe. Right next to the hiway. Had ER, left a day early. Owners have yet to respond.

Amazing telluride stay to be immersed in the beauty of telluride nature
Beautiful location. Very close to mountain village. Amazing views from all angles of the house and very homie. House was very clean and well kept! Home owner was quick to respond when I needed help with the hot tub. Make sure you have an off road capable vehicle if staying in the winter. We had no problem making our way to the house but the driveway is steep and narrow. Best to show up in the daylight. Absolutely will be staying again when I visit telluride.

Skip this rental until updates are made
Excellent & amazing views from almost every window in the house. We were able to request an early check-in which was very helpful. The King size beds were comfortable This house has potential with updates. Unfortunately the inside of the house needs lots of work. The carpet is old, bunching up and nasty. Every kitchen cabinet is filthy inside and out. One of the doors has a panel that is rotting away and ready to fall out (safety issue). The windows have a heavy dirty film on them which is a bummer because it messes with the view. On a sunny day the home heats up to about 80° inside even with windows open. Many windows were broken, not able to crank open or had no screen so the bugs would come in. Two of the three toilets would barely flush. The subzero refrigerator & freezer vents are caked in dust. The potholders provided in the kitchen are hardened with filth. The basement patio door has a ripped screen. One of the master bathrooms has signs of mold starting in the shower. The inside of the oven is filthy and smells a little when you use it. Material on couch and pillows are worn. Took 20 minutes to clean the grill before we could use it. Not happy to pay a premium price per night for a home that is not premium.

Just ok
The property is in a nice area and has great views. However it is in need of some updates and upkeep. We were there on some warm days for that time of the year and we could not open some of the windows because they did not have screens on them. When we did, moths and bugs came in. Some of the windows did not open. I was surprised at the lack of paper products: toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags for instance. We purchased our own. Plus we purchased our own shampoo and bath soap. There were no extra linens: pillow cases, towels etc. The driveway is very narrow and steep. You need to be comfortable with backing up quite a long way.

Needs Repairs
This home is on a beautiful lot with great views but it needs attention. The primary concern was no hard wired or even working smoke detectors in fact the master one was removed from the mounting bracket. Toilets would barley flush,flickering lights some exposed wiring missing door hardware and screens on doors and windows missing. This made it hard to cool off. Needs a deep cleaning. First poor experience ever with a VRBO property. From a former property manager for over 20 years in a resort town would never rent one in this shape.Agreed to pay cleaning fee and other fees since it was to late to find another property (moved to great one after the one night) but requested refund on stay. No word back will be disputing charges.

Fun split level getaway in a gorgeous setting!
We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well-stocked, with beautiful views out of every window. We particularly liked the basement movie room! The only issue we ran into was how hot the cabin was when we first got there - I guess there was no AC due to the high elevation, but we got there during a heat wave and had to turn down all the thermostats and open what windows we could to cool it down. It was comfortable by bedtime, however, and we ran into no other problems.

The house is located on a very private lot, in a beautiful neighborhood, and very close to the Mountain Village. The views from inside and the large hot tub were spectacular. Like some of the reviews noted, it’s a little dated and there was a large crack in one of the windows upstairs. But overall, we had a great stay.

Great mountain getaway
Great home to spend a few days in the mountains with our family! We loved the view from the back patio and hot tub. Saw a lot of mule dear in the backyard. Kids enjoyed exploring the property. Kitchen fully stocked. Everything was in working order. Great location. Felt secluded but close to the grocery store and gondola. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!

This is a beautiful property with breathtaking views! The bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen is well laid out. We had a bit of angst when we walked into a cracked window and open door. We texted the owner and he responded quickly. The house seems in the process of being updated - kitchen and living room area floors are new. It served our needs well. When the rest of the house is updated it will be even more desirable. Thanks for a wonderful stay in your home!

Family Friendly Experience
We loved the unique structure of the house, upon arrival it was hard to find since it has a nice private area and driveway, but once found and settled it makes for such a peaceful and beautiful spot. The mountains are your backyard and are absolutely astonishing. Upon arrival figuring out the light switches was an adventure, some of the lights didn't work or flicker a lot. We however loved the upstairs kitchen and living room, when we went downstairs for our bedrooms it was a little dark and the main master bedrooms were very dusty on the cabinet spaces and bedside tables. The bathroom toilets don't flush well, and you have to hold them down to flush all the way. The hot tub was so blissful to have in the privacy of the Aspen trees, especially after hiking. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and made great memories here!

Several of the toilets don't flush great, it takes 2 flushes sometimes, and the driveway is sketchy but manageable. Otherwise the stay was great! Beautiful views and a clean home. My family especially enjoyed the hot tub and the theater room. Very responsive, accomidating and attentive hosts

Worth it for the view alone.
We struggled a bit on arrival trying to find all the light switches since we arrived after dark. It was completely pitch black and some of the switches are hidden under shelves or not where you would think they would be, BUT AFTER we got passed that, everything was absolutely perfect. It is a HUGE beautiful house. We love a good private location where we feel like we are the only people out there. The hot tub worked great even when it was snowing it never lost temperature. The bed was comfy and there were lots of extra blankets. The view though is just amazing. Definitely would stay again and make sure I arrive during the day!

Amazing place!
House is great. Tons of room, amazing views, hot tub is great. We got a foot of snow overnight and woke up to plowed driveway. You definitely want 4wd in winter. We didn't have any issues going up or down.
