Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt im Alankara Hotel Ubud rundum genossen. Die Lage ist ideal – ruhig und naturnah, aber dennoch nah am Zentrum von Ubud. "Villa is stunning but in a very remote village about 15mins by car from central ubud. The villa staff had very little english so you will need google translate for effective communication. Stock up on supplies beforehand as access in the village is limited. There are no taxis in ubud and the inclines are steep and uneven underfoot so walking is adventurous.

"The hotel looked nice and the staff was nice. The only issue was the smell of the rooms. There was a strong smell that you notice as you enter the room. We tried asking about this smell and were told that it was normal. The breakfast wasn’t the most delicious either. Overall the staff was nice and replaced foods if we didn’t like them and tried to clean one of the rooms again. "

"It was great to be in the jungle view during the stay. Staffs were really kind and friendly. They let you hire the scooter so you can drive to Ubud whenever you want. Pool was amazing, but as it's in jungle, we did see lots of bugs, lizards and even squirrels. Warning for a lot of ants! They had kitchen facilities that you can cook your own food, or order their own meal. Mie goreng was good! "Nos cuidaron des de que pusimos el primer pie en el hotel. El hotel dispone de muy pocas habitaciones y parecía que estuviéramos solas. Teníamos una persona que se encargaba de nuestra comodidad, nos ofrecieron hacer una clase de yoga (gratis). El restaurante es solamente vegetariano y la comida está muy buena. "Beautiful resort with stunning pool by the forest. Rooms are exceptionally clean and beautiful with greenery views.
Service is beyond excellent. The resort upgraded to another room immediately because the AC was not cold enough.
They also checked my room before i left and found i had left items behind. Food is limited but i always took the free shuttle service to the main town for meals at the restaurants.
