"Unfortunately our stay was marred by the fact that the bathroom bin had not been emptied and contained the previous residents used sanitary products!!! The shower took 25 minutes to drain and, whilst we understand the logistics of old manor houses, if the plumbing is not up to standard then this should be at least mentioned on booking. The bathroom windows were in desperate need of repair, and mould cleaner, which may be the reason why there were silverfish in the bathroom. The final straw for...

"Excellent hotel to stay in. Initially booked just for a bed, as wasn't planning on staying in the hotel through the day. Instead, we got excellent service, delicious breakfast, reasonally priced drinks at the bar and a cool pool to relax in.
The staff are extremely polite and very friendly. They will help with any request and always aimed to make us feel welcomed during our stay.
Definitely booking again if we are heading to Torquay again."
