The condo was great. Pretty much had everything a person could want. Well stocked. Location is great for exploring north or south in the Keys. It would be great to "include" a coffee or two pods or for pot to get people started and maybe a couple bottles of water...just to tide people over until they get to the store. But everything was super nice. The main bedroom bed is on risers, so if you are "vertically challenged" it might be difficult to get up on the bed. (I am 5'7" with reasonably long/ average legs and it took a little work) very comfortable though!!! Also if you are trying to dry clothes, the dryer is stacked and difficult to see the buttons. However, this is nothing when you look out the windows and see the sunrise/sunset.

Great Oceanview

The view from the decks was fantastic. Great place for morning coffee or reading a book. I really enjoyed both the beach and pool, though they both would accommodate more seating. The Island Grill at the beach had very good food, reasonable prices, as well as a good variety of beers to sample. Quite a few good restaurants near by. We visited the 3 Island Grill locations in the area, each with good quality food and great service. Marathon is close, which we visited three times, Sombrero beach, sunset cruise, and an aquarium. Even spent a day in Key West. The road trip is very scenic and Key West has lots to do and see. Very great location and a extremely comfortable place to stay.

Great view and location but everything else needs to be changed

We chose this place because of the location, and it was $20 less than other units with the same floor plan in the complex. The pool, jacuzzi and beach seemed like an added plus (more on that later). The listing stated it accommodates 5. We are a family of two parents, three children 14, 12 and 10. The pool is nice, however the dripping tree ants from the palm trees make it unusable. The hot tub had about 30 ants we removed but they kept dropping on us. We moved to the pool and it had many more so we sadly didn’t return. The maintenance at the pool is fair. The kids were freaked out so that was sad to not return. The living room furniture arrangement is skewed and uncomfortable. The pull out sofa when not in use and folded up is too large for the space, the upholstered chair next to it is crammed. Only 4 guests could sit in the living room to watch TV (3 on sofa hip to hip and one on chair, both stinky and old and musty straight from the 80’s maybe early 90’s. The unnecessary cabinet under tv is a monster taking up most of the space. To utilize the space one must fold up the bed each morning and still it’s crammed. The kitchen counters are nice and fridge is spacious. I found the pits and pans and utensils unorganized and many pans were in bad condition. It’s a one person only kitchen ad there isn’t space for anyone else to occupy, so if you’re cooking meals or doing dishes it’s too crowded for anyone to help. The front loaders are nice for laundry but I didn’t see a note tha

Perfect Location Awesome Condo

We had a great stay. The views were amazing, the pool and facilities were fantastic. I wasn't impressed with the management however. We were not told that our building would not have power for for 1/2 day on our 1st day there. We had to leave by 1 0AMand have breakfast and lunch elsewhere which wasn't our original plan. Some other small things added up to some disappointment as well. Little things like there was a broken coffee pot, same one that we have at home so we know how to use it, a salt shaker, but no pepper, only one kitchen trash bag, even after I called Vacasa ph # and was told they would bring us another. That never happened. No pizza pan, burned out light bulbs, nothing major but general lack of detail for things that you'd expect. Overall a very nice, clean place.

Roaches !

The room had an active roach issue and it took days for the property manager to arrange for someone to come spray. My sister actually had a roach crawling on her at one point. I booked this as a vacation for her 50th bday so I was pretty embarrassed and horrified to hear about the roaches. I know it’s not a Vacasa issue but I had to write this review.

Great location. Comfortable unit

Great location. Convenient to reefs, fishing, diving, sand bars. Perfect for boats under 27 ft. Close to shopping and dining in Key Largo and Islamorada. Seamless check-in and check-out. Make sure to reserve boar slips well in advance as the marina is small and spaces are limited. This unit in building 4 is very convenient to both the marina and pool. Great Niels of the ocean as well.

Trashing a vacation

Although the unit we stayed in was clean and comfortable, our stay was not. There was jackhammer foundation work taking place during much of our two month stay. We complained to the VaCasa representatives on numerous ocassions to no avail. We were told there was no units available to relocate us. If we had been warned in advance of the work, we could have cancelled or at least moved in knowing the construction was taking place. Our vacation was ruined by the lack of communication.
