"Fantastic hotel. A great place to stay if you want to explore the Lake District. The staff were always very helpful and easy to talk to. There were always good options during breakfast time and the spa was very relaxing."

"Just on the way home from the most fantastic stay at Julie’s lodge in Bassenthwaite!The lodge was beautiful and had everything you need, and the location was absolutely stunning !Without a doubt a definite 10/10 If you book this lodge you will not be disappointed."

"Had a lovely stay! It’s such a cute cottage and the views are just beautiful! Perfect size for 2 people to enjoy a peaceful escape.
