Mucho a mejorar en ubicación excelente

Alojamiento en una ubicación muy buena en la zona de los lagos cerca de Keswick. En cuanto a la casa, decir que es necesario mejorar muchas cosas para que la estancia sea cómoda y placentera, empezando como punto principal por la limpieza. En nuestro caso, no estuvimos del todo agusto con esto. Las dimensiones del alojamiento son algo pequeñas pero suficiente para 2, 3 personas como mucho.

Beautiful location & cottage

Everything as described. Cottage was perfect, extremely cosy and peaceful. Well equipped in side which suited our short break perfectly. Matt the host was very welcoming and available if you would need anything. For sure we will be returning.

Lovely Little Cottage

Great little cottage with very spacious garden. My friend and I had a lovely weekend away. The owner was very welcoming and is right next door should there be any issues.

Lovely rural setting

Very authentic farm experience. We were lucky to visit during lambing. The Cottage is very cosy comfortable and clean. Matt was the perfect host.

Winter break at farm

If you like rural and isolated this is for you it's out the way but still close to the towns plenty of walks the property had wonderful views dogs are welcome the owner was so nice would recommend

Liked: location, communication about the check in process, cottage is clean and nicely furnished - Christmas decorations were a lovely touch. Disliked: dogs barking next door most of the evening of our second night, only one loo roll for a 3 day stay!

Lovely cottage

The cottage is very attractive - it is cosy, spacious and welcoming. The views from the cottage are also stunning. There's plenty of scenic areas nearby the cottage that are great to discover and walk around. It's also an ideal base for visits to the numerous towns and attractions within the Lakes. The hosts are friendly and helpful as well.

On the trail to lake views

It really IS a working farm with real hard working people there who care.Matthew recieved some pygmy goats while we were there and it was fun to see them. The place was thoughtfully decorated and spacious. If you are very tall you need to be carefull here. It is in an old stone structure that has some recent modern upgrades. Very warm and cozy. A 5 minute walk from the front door gets you a million dollar view. TONs of great hiking and mountain biking options nearby. We would gladly stay here again. ssdfsdf

Great accommodations for exploring the Lake District and observing life on a working sheep farm. Efficient kitchen setup, great views from the bedroom and the side yard. Would stay here again.

Comfortabel huisje met mooie tuin

We hadden een heel fijn verblijf. Het huis heeft alles wat je nodig hebt en een fijne tuin. We hadden prachtig weer. S’avonds koelde het af, maar het huis is gelukkig goed verwarmd. Het ligt bij een schapenboerderij en aan een mooie wandelroute naar de bergtoppen er achter.

We stayed here last year and came back for this summer also. It’s a peaceful and beautiful location, the cottage is clean and has all you need. A good couple of nights sleep after dog walks around the lake was a great end to our trip up north 😊 5* thank you

We stayed in the cottage for 12 nights. It was very rustic and cosy. The kitchen is well equipped with most things you need for a holiday and everything was in perfect working order. We loved the farm noises and sheep bleating and the owner/farmer was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. He even provided a shed where we could store our bicycles that we brought along. We heartily recommend this venue.

Barkbeth Farm

Very nice property with a pretty little sitting area to watch the sunset over the lake. Very clean, neat and well equipped kitchen. Check in and communication with Matt was very easy. Nice parking spot just outside the pretty garden. Would recommend highly. It’s a great location for exploring the northern lakes district and easy to get to Keswick. Very quiet and peaceful location. A nice touch was a bouquet of fresh roses upon our arrival.
