The location of the hotel is great and very convenient, however the room experience unfortunately let the stay down.
We were placed on the first floor, which shares space with conference rooms and guest rooms. There is a door separating the two areas, however it was frequently left open, meaning people from the conference could easily walk through the hotel room corridor. This made the area feel exposed and contributed to constant noise from people walking past, talking, and moving things around. We could also hear noise from outside the hotel.
The room faced a brightly lit alley, and the blackout curtains did not fully block out the light, making it difficult to sleep. Privacy was also an issue as the room looked directly into a gym in a nearby building, where people could see into the room.
There was also confusion around accessing facilities. Signs says the pool and gym were on level 9, however the lift only went to level 8 and our key did not allow access, with no clear guidance provided.
Service was mixed, one staff member at check-in was not particularly welcoming, while the staff member at check-out was lovely and helpful.
Overall, while the location is a plus, the room allocation, noise, lack of separation from public areas, and access issues significantly impacted the stay. I would recommend requesting a higher, quieter floor if staying here.
