Great getaway to unwind

Beautiful secluded property. Great to getaway and unwind with the family, really enjoyed our stay. With a fireplace and fire pit thought firewood would be provided, brought some of our own but ran out. No Milk frother to go with the pod coffee machine. Cleanliness sub par and sheets missing for main bed.

Gorgeous location and lovely home

The house is lovely and has various sleeping options. It was clean and tidy. The property is large and perfect for kids to run around in. We couldn’t get to the waterfall due to the steep decline but the spa made up for it. The only other difficulty was finding the wifi information and there was no information booklet in the house that I saw which would have been helpful. Lots of lovely cafes close by. Would love to visit again.

Exceptional Stay at The Cascades!

My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Cascades for our Christmas gathering, and I can't say enough about how fantastic our experience was! Peace, birdsong and comfy beds!

We loved our stay in Galston. The house and vista are very special. Immersed in nature in very comfortable surrounds! We recommend a cuppa on the deck at dawn listening to all the birds herald the day!

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Cascades. The property is absolutely beautiful and we felt at peace as soon as we checked in. The house was well equiped which was handy for our gathering. We loved being surrounded by nature while we soaked in the hot tub and sat by the fire pit. Great bird watching in the morning too. Thank you Sandy.

Rural vibes close to Sydney

The house and grounds are beautiful and private. You can't see a single neighbour from the property, so it feels like you are million miles away surrounded by the bush and birds, while still being relatively close to Sydney. The Outdoor Spa, Fireplace and Firepit all got regular use. As well as the large deck overlooking the bush in the backyard. Sandy was an excellent and responsive host, and was happy to answer any questions we had. Would happily recommend this place.

A great place to stay!

Wonderful peaceful location, better than the pictures! Feels like you're far from Sydney even though it's close and so easy to get too. House is modern and comfortable, and the spa is convenient and easy to use. Would definitely come back!

Beautiful getaway for a group of friends!

My friends and I absolutely loved our time staying in this beautiful house. We made sure to make use of everything the property had to offer. From the cozy fireplace, the clean cut kitchen, the beautiful outdoor fire pit to the warm hot tub during sunset. It was amazing and Sandy was always swift to respond to any queries I had. Can't wait to stay there again!

Property is serine, quiet, relaxing, clean and a fantastic place to escape with friends or a partner. Hosts were fantastic and check in and check our was easy and effortless. Fantastic communication with the host with quick and efficient responses. Super flexible and would absolutely stay bay this property again.

Easter in galston

The stay we had in galston “cascades” was next to none the best family trip away we have ever experienced the host was so responsive helping us with any questions and queries we might have had , all appliances were top notch quality with all the bells and whistles The views from site were amazing and access to the waterfall was adventurous great vibes for the soul and mind will definitely book again in the future thanks so much for everything .

Peaceful birthday celebration

Sandy was lovely and even let us check in early as no one was staying before us. The house was clean with a fully stocked kitchen. The view are incredible and really peaceful. Thank you Sandy for such a wonderful stay.

Secluded and serene

This property was everything it promised to be from the photos and more! The photos do not capture how close you are to the bush and how the property is designed to enable you to take in the view, the sounds and the ambience of the bush from every room and living space. The ever present sounds of the cascades create a peaceful soundtrack to your stay. Add to that comfy beds, luxurious linen and towels, modern kitchen and appliances and fast wifi and you have the perfect getaway. And our dog loved it too!!
