Lovely cottage for our family of four

The cottage is so cute and well-appointed. We were very comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet and we enjoyed the bird calls is the mornings and evenings. Our host was very friendly and responsive.

Great 4 weeks

Clive and Therese were very pleasant and easy to get along with. We had a couple of minor probs and Clive fixed them immediately. Property is very nice and extremely well equipped and in good location. We hope to stay again.

Lovely cottage in Manly Vale

We recently had a wonderful stay with Clive and Terese at their beautiful cottage. It was perfect for us as a family of 6 with 4 young kids. Close enough to walk wherever we wanted to be in the surrounding area. The cottage is lovely and so peaceful, the gardens are great too. Clive and Terese are fantastic hosts who make you feel so welcome. The welcome supplies and treats were so nice to arrive to after a long journey. We hope to return some day in the future.

Sunshine Cottage - home away from home

Our stay was comfortable and cosy - like staying in a family holiday home. Little touches enhanced our stay and all the essentials were available. Manly Cottage

My husband and I plus our 2 children stayed at the cottage for our first beach getaway and a family of 4. Clive and Terese were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure that we had everything we needed. This included lego and train sets to play with for our children as well as small gestures like chocolates and some food. The location was great and close to a great park, swimming complex, Westfield shopping centre and the beach!!

Our family visit to Sunshine Cottage in October 2019

My niece got married in Sydney in October 2019 and we wanted a base for our family to visit for the wedding and spend time afterwards enjoying the beaches and attractions. The cottage was ideal for 4 adults and a 19 month old as it was all one one level and had an enclosed garden. it also had good amenities - wifi, netflix and apple tv as well as a well equipped kitchen, washing machine and deck with gas bbq. A travel cot and high chair were provided as well as children's cutlery and crockery, coolbags and garden and beach toys. The location was great - a quiet residential road near Manly Creek 30 minutes walk to the beach and local restaurants and cafes. 10 minutes away from a supermarket and the fast B-Line buses to the city or Northern beaches. We used the Manly Ferry most days to reach the city and Watsons Bay and didn't need a car as the public transport was so good and cheap compared with London prices. The owners lived at the front of the plot and were very accommodating, giving us early access on our arrival and allowing us to leave cases at the property on our last day as our flights weren't until 10pm. A great place to stay to enjoy Sydney and the surrounding area

Beautiful cottage in a great location. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy Manly beachside but have all of Sydney’s offerings on your door step. The cottage was very cosy and the kids enjoyed playing in the garden area. Highly recommend this property and Clive and Therese were great hosts.

Top of the Gems A DIAMOND

I have stayed in many residences in Australia and overseas however this was my top pick. My daughter & I stayed at this cosy, private and delightful cottage that exudes a relaxing ambience and I did not want to leave. It had everything we required and more. Stacks of extra linen & blankets, loads of hanging space, and drawers, fully equipped kitchen, great heating options and the rooms are spacious. So clean it sparkled. Clive and Terese were fantastic, friendly hosts and Leila the dog, was adorable. The well maintained garden with its foliage and extra seating areas was beautiful. Excellent location and very quiet. I'm definitely returning to this beauty. Thank you Clive and Terese.
