"We had a wonderful stay at the Lakes. It’s such a beautiful setting with so many activities on offer including a spa. We ate in the restaurant and it really is an experience- the food and service were outstanding. Bedrooms are beautiful - decor and furnishings. Guest services were very helpful both prior to arrival and on the day. We we definitely be back! "

"Brilliant, I did leave a review on Google maps also. But I really enjoyed this stay. Me (m19) and my partner (F18) decided to go on a whim and book somewhere nice on Saturday night. It was a nice idea as we got out of her parents house. We really enjoyed our stay, the apartment was clean with a nice bathroom, kitchen, living area and bedroom. "Host was difficult to reach. We never received check in information. We had to call the property owner twice and Travel Nest three times over several hours to get the information. Listing also says the house house has a washer and dryer, but there is no dryer. "

"We were only here one night, but I loved staying in this flat! It was a real insight into how people live their everyday lives in a city the size of Oxford. Manu was excellent about communicating with us and made sure we would have no trouble finding the flat or getting into it. I wish we could have stayed here longer, and I would definitely reach out to him again if I ever travel back this way!"

"It was such a wonderful experience and a memorable stay in lower slaughter. very easy drive to other villages. It had everything you need to prepare your meals although we didn’t use it. The mansion near by is worth seeing. Everybody was kind and friendly. The owner was prompt to answer questions on location when we mistakenly arrived to the wrong spot, my bad, had clear instruction how to access the cottage whitch i gave to my daughter that opened it. made her feel like Sherlock Holmes:)) ...

"We arrived a little early and greeted by Pauline who is extremely welcoming and friendly. Our suite (Tailors) was ready and we were able to check in. Everything was immaculate, including the lovely garden which has plenty of seating. Thoughtful provision of milk, orange juice, water, biscuits plus teas and coffee was very welcome after a long journey. Location to the characterful town of Woodstock is perfect, just a few minutes stroll and you are amongst the shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants....

"Read all the 5star reviews for this cottage.....we agree with them, which is why we chose this. Responsive host; perfect location with respect to village center and services; best village if you prefer smaller, less hustle, but still plenty of good services; cottage condition is fantastic; off street parking is a huge luxury; easy to keep the house warm when needed; everything in the house worked. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat! We have stayed in dozens and dozens of rental houses in the US...
