Exterior of property was not very inviting, interior was very tired, carpets and furniture very worn, some bathrooms unusable so we had to share. Overall the property was very disappointing which overshadowed a family weekend together

We had a wonderful stay for New Year with friends and family. The house was warm and comfortable, and felt very nice to be in. The garden is absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed going out in the mornings for a cuppa (even if it was cold out!). The kitchen was well equipped, and the whole place was clean and tidy. We will definitely consider coming again! Wholeheartedly recommend.

Just returned from a lovely Xmas break with the family at this beautiful Cotswolds cottage.An ideal size for our party of 14, well equipped and a great host met us upon arrival.A well equipped kitchen, lovely open fire and beautodul large dining room.Some areas could have had more attention from a cleaning perspective but it didn't detract from a lively short break, thank you.

Great property with different spaces downstairs which really suited our group. The kids loved playing at the pool table and the adults were able to gather in the lounge or dining room. Great that there were so many bathrooms too. We’ll definitely return.

The house was all set up and clean on arrival. 5 excellent bedrooms and sufficient toilet and shower facilities. Ideal for group gatherings. Excellent lounge seating, kitchen and dining table to easily sit all 10 of us. Lots of local walks and pubs available. A great find!

We had a wonderful family weekend at this fabulous property! Plenty of room for everyone and the sunny, south facing garden was just beautiful! The children (9, 10 and 13) had loads of room to run around and play. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you need to cater for a large family gathering, plenty of dinnerware, cutlery, cooking equipment etc. and a massive dining table that can easily seat 12 or more people. The check in was smooth, all done through email instruction and there is loads of parking right outside. Jenni was great at answering my questions and accommodating my early/late check in/out requests. We're already looking at the availability to visit again as soon as possible! Highly recommend.

Annual family get together. House very spacious and lovely garden too. House clean and great to have plenty of bathrooms.Lots of local pubs we went to The Plough at Alvescot who were very welcoming.Lots to do in area. Would love to come here again.

This is a great property for a large family get together. It is comfy but not luxurious which was just right for a family with 5 grandchildren 6 yrs and under. Great secure garden space for the the children to run around in. The kitchen was well equipped with enough of everything for 14 people. The table in the dining room is large enough to get that number of people around it too. We had a wonderful time celebrating a family birthday there.

Family weekend

Beautiful house. Lovely location. Perfect place for large family gathering. Little ones loved the garden. We enjoyed the bbq, and had a lovely lunch in the plough in Alverston, just up the road. Lovely walks with the dog near by. Sad to come home.

Lovely property, great location!

This property was lovely. I would describe it as very cozy and comfortable. The location was great, we were able to conveniently explore the Cotswolds and nearby towns. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
