"Literally from the time we got out of the car, it felt as if we had arrived to stay the weekend at a long time friends home. After checking in, we were given several recommendations for dinner, then returned back to The Cottage to enjoy conversation, games and a fire with the hosts and other guests. A delcious home cooked breakfast was served to all around a large dining table. It was a very quiet peaceful getaway and just down the road from Ricketts Glen where we hiked the beautiful Falls...

"Cottage in the Woods was an excellent place to stay and celebrate our anniversary. The property is cozy and beautiful, hosts are very friendly- welcoming us like family. Breakfast was delicious and so filling- just what we needed for our full days. Claytonna was so friendly and engaging, sharing the “things to do” in the area. Accommodations were wonderful, and a perfect location to enjoy Ricketts Glen State Park. We will surely return for a future stay!"
