Everything was wonderful! The cottage could not have been cleaner! The kitchen was fully stocked, and we saved money by making most of our meals. The hot tub was great after each day of sightseeing. The owners were very responsive to all of our questions. We would definitely consider renting here again.

We loved this cabin! Convenient and beautiful location. Everything was updated and VERY clean. Comfortable beds, plenty of pillows. Great decor. We really enjoyed sitting on the porch. Kitchen was very well-appointed; couch and chairs were comfortable; yard and hot tub were very well-maintained. Owners were easy to communicate with and responded quickly when we had an issue with the Internet-- even called to help us fix it! Easy check in and check out.Only complaint is that the hot tub was set to 60F when we arrived and we were not able to use it that night as it takes 6 - 8 hours to fully heat up.The only other note I would make is that the cabin is set very close to Glendale Road and the road noise is very loud if you're sitting on the porch or if you have the windows open. So (depending on the season), if your goal is peace and quiet, this may not be the best spot for you. It didn't really bother us, but it is worth mentioning.

Overall experience was very good. Host. Got back to you quickly if you had questions. What a wonderful relaxing weekend. Fire pit, hot tub definitely a plus. For sure would book again!

Pleasant trip to Deep Creek

Property was as depicted. Nice amenities, particularly impressed they drain the water to the hot tub after each stay (perhaps overkill but pretty cool nonetheless). We enjoyed the fire pit and watching roku tv in the living room. Internet wasn't that fast but it was ok enough for streaming tv. Thanks to the hosts for a nice stay hope we can come back sometime!

This comfy & very clean cottage was the perfect respite for our 3 night stay near Deep Creek lake! The owners were excellent communicators and the listing clearly reflects the cottage offerings. We enjoyed both porches, the grill, used the kitchen, the hot tub and were very comfortable sleeping in the 2 queen size beds in air conditioned rooms. Traveling as two couples - this home location was just right for our outings to Swallow Falls, Deep Creek Lake State Park, out to Dutch’s for dinner & convenient to our pontoon rental. Thanks for sharing your vintage cottage… With little cardinal touches everywhere!

Our perfect place for morning coffee and pre-dinner drinks! We even saw a group of ~10 bucks on the far meadow - one dusk!

Cute cottage had everything our family of 4 needed for a visit to Garrett County. We really appreciated the A/C, Wi-Fi, and washer/dryer on the inside and took advantage of the fire pit and hot tub outside.

Property was very nice. The weekend was rainy which cause the yard to turn into a bit of a swamp. The inside was beautiful and fit 5 of us very well. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware. Hot tub was clean and the outdoor shower made washing hot tub chemicals and camp fire smoke out of hair very convenient.

Cozy; would stay again

Perfect for those traveling with a small group. The view from the front porch was very nice, other than 1 small home across the street no other buildings in your field of view, just a green field and trees on a mountain ridge. The only real problem was the hot tub didn’t work. The owners sent a technician out quickly but unfortunately the part required would take several days to arrive so the whole week we had no hot tub. Otherwise I would’ve given everything 5 stars. I asked for a partial refund and the owner did give me what I asked for. They were very quick to respond to any questions I asked them. No problems with any other appliances. I would note that the view from the driveway of the property beside the house is not so nice-looks like several old metal airplane hangers but you can’t see them when you’re on the front porch facing the nice view. Shower water pressure was great especially considering the mountainous area (can’t say the same for a place I stayed in Colorado) so that was unexpectedly nice. The location was private enough to enjoy the quiet but also 15 minutes from places like Walmart when you need to buy groceries or other supplies. Close to many attractions without having to drive too far like Muddy Creek Falls, Savage River area was beautiful and filled with babbling brooks for miles. Note that if you’re not used to hard water you’ll want to buy bottled water especially for making tea and coffee. We had a good time and would stay again.
