Peaceful Mountain Views

We so enjoyed our stay in this beautiful mountain home. Starting our day on the porch with coffee and incredible mountain views set the stage for our relaxed time in the area. And ending each day on the porch with drinks and the fire pit was the perfect way to spend our evenings. A bear cub greeted us on our first morning! Highlights were sitting on the porch, soaking in the views, watching the birds swoop in to the feeders, feeling the gentle breezes, seeing the mountain peaks emerge from the mists in the mornings, and seeing the changing colors of the sunset in the evenings. Such a peaceful setting, definitely food for the soul.

Couple’s getaway

This cabin was perfect. It was better than described and the pictures did not do it justice. The long-range views were breathtaking, especially at sunset! I loved the bird houses and lovely succulents around the porch. It had large bedrooms and bathrooms. The open kitchen had every appliance and convenience we could have needed, and we were pleasantly surprised to find everything from chip clips to a handheld coffee frother. There were even K cup coffee pods available for use. Being from flat-land South Carolina, the drive up the mountain was a more steep than we anticipated, but we had no trouble in our Honda Pilot. We saw a beautiful black bear on the drive down the mountain, a little way from the house. We visited Biltmore Estate one day, and shops and restaurants in Black Mountain another day. Each location was only about 20-25 minutes from the cabin. Overall this cabin was fantastic and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

May Getaway

When searching for rental properties, I always include “highly rated for cleanliness” in the search filter, and this cabin did not disappoint! My wife, who isn’t easily impressed, was thrilled to discover the accuracy of the 10/10 rating for this smoke-free and pet-free property. Despite four consecutive days of rain, we still enjoyed the truly impressive 180 degree views from the front porch of this amazing house.

Spring Break

Excellent property with such beautiful views. The property design had such amazing attention to detail. Everything we needed was there. We even got to see a bear! The driveway is quite steep so make sure your vehicle can handle it.

Mountain Serenity

Location was in Black Mountain. The owners attention to detail was obvious. The views were exactly what we were looking for. The coziness on the home was better than any hotel stay. Both bedrooms and bathrooms were 10s. Both had great mountain views as well. Would definitely book again!

This home has it all!

This is just a beautiful home! Clean as can be-spotless. I cannot think of a thing that was lacking. Beautiful space. We were a bit intimidated by the driveway but the FWD Edge made it without a problem. We have never had the luxury of a garage before that is a plus-plus! Thank you. We hiked all over the place in the surrounding counties and even at the small park below us. We also enjoyed the Billy Graham Conference Center! I was privileged to play the piano there that George Beverly Shea once played! I would recommend this property to anyone! Thank you!

Great mountain getaway!

We couldn't have asked for a better VRBO! The house was beautiful and had everything you could possibly need! The layout was thoughtfully designed and the cleanliness was impeccable! The views of the mountains from the deck were truly breathtaking! The location was quiet and remote but yet close to restaurants and a nice grocery store! The hosts were friendly and very responsive to any questions we had. Our stay was so peaceful and relaxing- we can't wait to come back!

If you truly want to get away to rest, relax, and recharge, 36 Clubb Mountain is for you! The cabin description is spot on. The views can’t be beat. And the owners small touches make a big difference. Exceeded expectations!

The property was everything that we needed and more! Exceeded our expectations in every way. This was the best VRBO we've ever been in. The inside was beautiful and styled to perfection for this wonderful mountain location. The views from the deck were amazing. I can't imagine many other properties that provide anything near that. All- in- all, all four of us were blown away!

Top of Mountain Serenity

If you like peace and quiet with spectacular sunsets this is indeed the property. I looked everywhere in the region for Blue Ridge views and stumbled onto this property. Owners were fantastic to work with. Wonderful place, high quality in all areas you might look for. Morning and evenings just wonderful.

Slice of Heaven

This property was one of the stops on our ten year anniversary road trip and could not have been more perfect. The huge home boasted two primary suites, with en suites, so we were able to really spread out The deck was incredible, with bird feeders that brought cardinals, tit mouse, hummingbirds and more. Keep quiet on the deck and you'll see them from 5 ft away Everything you could need was supplied: kitchen cooking, sounds machine, lots of information on hikes, etc.Its clear this was a well thought out space Finally, there are a lot of warnings about the bears. Do NOT feed them. We were hoping for a sighting and were finally lucky to see one just below the deck before we left. It 100 percent completed our picture perfect stay. Thank you so much for inviting us into your home. We felt like we were your personal guests.

Amazing getaway

This property is amazing! The owners have provided every amenity you can think of. The view from the huge balcony was spectacular. The panoramic view of the mountains and clouds, and many bird species was mesmerizing. We were able to watch 2 black bears playing next to the driveway from the safety of the balcony! The beautiful Blueridge parkway was just a short drive from the house. Many good restaurants close by. All in all a great place to vacation.
