"The overall cleanliness of the property was not what I expected considering there was a mandatory cleaning fee. Large trash items were still on the floors throughout the house: candy wrappers, popcorn, etc. All surfaces were extremely dusty except the kitchen. There were several items we fixed during out stay: hinges completely off a door, tightening legs on chairs and tables, for example. This property would benefit by having an actual maintenance person do the installation of things like...

And, the couple of times that we asked if they had something that wasn't there, it appeared the next day! The hosts were incredibly responsive and pleasant to deal with!"

"Beautiful house, quiet and clean with lots of amenities. Close walk to neighborhood park and pool. (Although it was fall and pool was closed). Tennis courts and pickle ball. Beautiful golf course. The town of Black Mountain is quaint, nice restaurants. Perfect fall get away."
