Well stocked kitchen. Loved the Kitchen, movie room upstairs, and the deck. This is a place to open the doors and spend time outside with nature. The only issue is the downstairs bed, it needs a new mattress. We slept two nights on it and then had to move to the upstairs couch to save our backs.

Our trip was amazing! Had a surprise engagement on our trip and the house was incredible. Cozy and tucked in the mountains so beautifully! The loft and hot tube were our favorite parts of our stay! Many memories made watching movies with our friends! We will definitely be back!!

The cabin was very clean and had all amenities that were needed. It even had a fleece throw big enough for 2 people in front of the big screen TV. The hot tub was great. Furniture was very comfortable inside and on the deck. View was breathtaking. Highly recommend!

Just as described. Well equipped kitchen. Everything is new and modern while maintaining a cozy cabin feel. Very secluded near the top of the mountain road. We had a pickup truck and glad we did to navigate the gravel road. Not too bad, just narrow. I’d imagine it’s more challenging when colder. We enjoyed wine and the hot tub on the patio every evening. We hiked and did breweries during the day and couldn’t wait to get back to the cabin each day. Just so relaxing We hope to be back again next year! Host very responsive.

Clean and beautiful property

The house was as advertised. Everything was very clean. The hot tub had some mold on the inside. Our sedan made it up the mountain but was definitely a difficult drive up. Very steep and hard to see when you’re in a low car. I would not do it with a car again, you need an suv or truck. The property is beautiful and we loved the view from the deck.

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Very clean and all the amenities you could need. They provided dishwasher pods, laundry detergent, and anything else you can think of. Great stay and looking forward to another trip here!

Perfect cabin, perfect location.

We absolutely loved The Knob. It was just as advertised. We had no trouble finding it using Apple Maps it is a one lane gravel road but nothing crazy steep and we never had any issues. Basically as you wind up the mountain there is a cabin every 1/4 of a mile or so. You can see other cabins but it’s very peaceful. Lots of birds and bees and wildflowers. We saw a family of 4 bears the second night! The cabin is very well stocked and has lots of storage and seating. Loved the deck. If you use the hot tub set it to the temp you want ASAP as it does take a while to heat up. Takes about 10 minutes to get down the mountain and to 70 (the main road) but from there Black Mountain and all its great shops and restaurants is about 10 minutes, Asheville/Biltmore about 20. Great spot to explore everything. Make sure to get breakfast at Blue Ridge Biscuit Co. Only had one minor issue (mixup with wifi password) and the company responded quickly and then the owner called himself and made sure we got logged in and let us know we could call if any issues.

Great cabin for a family

We stayed for 4 nights at The Knob. Everything was clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend this to families staying in the area. The loft was very cozy for movies and relaxing at night.

September Rainy Stay

the drive was beautiful and intimidating! we loved every second of it. the house was cozy and perfect for early morning coffee or late night wine on the balcony. the hot tub was so lovely. while the weather was wasn’t great, the house provided us so much relaxation but also fun games and a huge kitchen to cook. thank you!

A cabin in the treetops

My boyfriend and I rented this cabin for a relaxing getaway for my birthday. We rented a car, as opposed to a SUV, with no issues getting up the steep driveway. We arrived before dark, which was helpful, so we knew how to navigate the rocking slope. Once you get to the top, we were greeted by the most beautiful place! Pictures just don't do it justice. The house is clean, modern, simple decor and a place you can call home for a couple of days. We appreciated the ceiling fan in the master bedroom and I loved the full length mirror! Although we mostly utilized the main level and loft area, the basement was just as beautiful! The wrap around deck with the hot tub was my favorite part. We enjoyed our mornings with coffee, our afternoons with an adult beverage and the evenings in the hot tub, all with the view of mountains and nature. Gorgeous! The loft area inside had a huge comfy sofa where we relaxed and enjoyed Netflix after a full day of sightseeing. You cannot go wrong with this property!
