"Cottage was beautiful inside and out. Lots of lovely detail. Finished to a very high standard. Lacking a toilet upstairs. Long walk from the Children’s twin bedroom, the length of the building and downstairs to use the toilet throughout the night. Upstairs seating area offers more comfortable seating than the low sofa downstairs. Hot tub was good. Sauna doesn’t reach high enough temperature. Back door needing adjustment, hard to open and close. Very secure with gates only accessible via...

"Amazingly helpful & friendly hosts, willing to provide great suggestions for local attractions and assist in any way needed. Set in a beautiful quiet location but still only a short drive to major roads. "

"The cottage itself was lovely. A really nice chilled week, however the property just required a bit of TLC, it is just looking a bit tired and rough in some areas and the cleanliness was average to say the least. Some plates had been put away dirty and there was cobwebs in several of the rooms. The location was pretty good and it was only 30 minutes in to Glasgow and Ayr is nearby. Overall I would give a 7/10."

"Lovely location, central for exploring East and West.Very comfortable with just about everything you need.Only downside was the kitchen could have done with more plug sockets.However, would thoroughly recommend and we would stay again."

"Fantastic family break on a working farm. Mr King and his family are lovely warm hosts making sure you have everything you need and are enjoying your stay. Cute quirky cabin and annexe giving plenty space for a large group and the hot tub area an added treat for us all. Had great fun feeding Megan and Moonshine the horses !!"
